  1. Nice... it has a V7, this must be the Chinese only version of the 2.7 "This is the 2.7 V7, and there still seems a lot of space under the bonnet. Fit a V8!"
  2. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2014/01/03/ford-offers-sync-applink-for-3-million-more-customers.html Does anyone recall this announcement from the beginning of the year? It was said that the update was to roll out 'later this year'. Also Is the re-branded 'Sync 2' announced with the 2015 Focus the new QNX version of Sync or an update to the Microsoft version?
  3. I think Autoblog gets it.....The mustang didn't really have a performance problem, especially with the subsequent special editions that will be released to address performance. It most definitely had a refinement problem and it sounds as if the 2015 goes a long way to remedy that issue. Looking forward to a test drive.
  4. or as they call them the Mobile Care Station Wagon.... http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2014/09/05/345256876/replacing-an-ambulance-with-a-station-wagon?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=npr&utm_term=nprnews&utm_content=20140905
  5. This would be the axle housing not the actual axles which slide into the housing. I've done a few 8.8 swaps on foxbody's and don't recall the rearends were painted...scoured the junkyards and have seen piles of rears and don't recall them being painted. Don't believe this to be a new practice, but like what was said with the SRA going away this will no longer be an issue.
  6. Off to a good start across the pond. By William Boston BERLIN--More than 9,300 Europeans applied to reserve the first 500 new Ford Mustang sports cars during last weekend's UEFA Champions League soccer final, kicking off Ford Motor Co.'s (F) promotion for the sale of its iconic sports car in Europe next year. Ford plans to sell its Mustang for the first time in Europe, aiming for customers keen to drive a sports car but who cannot afford to pay for more expensive European models such as Porsche, BMW, Audi or Lamborghini. It will build the car in the United States and export from there to foreign markets. Ford launched the promotion at the beginning of the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Club Atletico de Madrid. Within 30 seconds of the start of the game, Ford had received the first 500 orders, the company said.
  7. Wow people are complaining about a free upgrade, seriously. It's a bit like buying a coach ticket and being offered a free upgrade to first class after you were already seated and complaining that you'll have to get out of your seat, then get your bags out of the bin and move all over again to a more comfortable seat with more leg room. I suppose you do have the option of respectfully declining and staying in your current seat.
  8. I don't normally post but thought this review too entertaining not to share...my favorite part: http://www.forbes.com/sites/matthewdepaula/2013/04/30/test-drive-2013-ford-fusion-impresses-in-every-way-but-one/
  9. It's common knowledge that this is a huge win for the mustang. The crowd understands that the challenger has won and the challenger understands that as well, but we all know for the challenger to be awarded the bout he has to convincingly defeat or knockout the raining champ and the fact is the M3 is the standing champ. Who won the fight in Rocky, the guy who wasn't suppose to even be in the ring or the defending champ? Depends on who you ask, the bout was given to Apollo by the judges but the people already had there champ. Ford has been putting out some really quality products for years now but had been losing the war of perception, merely by the audacity of a consumer reputable publication putting the Mustang against the M3 has instantaneously put it above everything in it's class and altered the state of how it is perceived in the minds of Americans, would not have happened five years ago guaranteed!
  10. I'm in Vegas and see at least one TC and Raptor a day(different one's) we've had TC taxis for month's and there are lots of delivery and porter vans for small & large business....I'm just guessing here but I would bet they sell more Raptor's here than metro Detroit.

  12. I think that is even more reason that this is great for ford....I think it is still not popular to speak of ford in a good light, ford is still lumped in with the crappy domestic auto makers by a vast majority of the American population. let's face it, a large majority of the population are drones and can not be trusted to make reasonable rational decisions.... hence why they have been buying the products from Toyota even though there quality has dropped in many areas and they make plenty of large gas hungry vehicles - because they have been told they are better and the guy at the water cooler even told them so. For ford to turn this around they have to win the battle of perception and public opinion, when you have the same media outlets that spoke with uninformed malice as it relates to Ford just months ago do a complete 360.....That's Huge! previously trusted media outlets had nothing good to say about Ford, I would even say that they went out there way to find something to nag about, now products are getting good reviews although they are still reaching for something to nit pick rather it be price, or SRA or whatever.....the point is those will soon turn in to great reviews. Buy your stock now gentlemen
  13. more good press!! http://seekingalpha.com/article/129030-for...ry?source=yahoo
  14. I like it as a "concept" and can see the potential this has when translated to production form. I would buy a c car from Lincoln.
