  1. Let me get this straight I am smart enough to vote for president of the USA but not smart enough to vote for the president of the UAW.
  2. Its not easy to read the contract language when we recieve a 6 page highlights and are expeceted to vote acording to this B.S thing. Sure you can go to the info meeting so they can read the 6 pages to you and not know anything else. Then later in the contract when your co-pay goes up you hear yea thats in the contract you should have read it. I would have if I could get one before I vote on it. Or may be they can say yes half the plant is getting half wages, its in the wording that we can explore new ways to cut costs.
  3. http://www.freep.com/article/20100519/BUSINESS07/5190305/1002/BUSINESS/Business-headlines-Toyota-plants-hit-by-bomb-hoaxes Here is a link about where they are building the Transit Connect Electric car . You have to go to the 3rd story down.
  4. Hey Mr "Christian" how about stopping your insulting posts
  5. Wow you are bitter. What happened to the level guy. We voted it down because Ford does what ever they want no matter what it says in the contract. We don't believe them. We don't believe the IUAW.
  6. Yes they have transitioned to ACS from Fidelity. You should have gotten a letter in the mail. There was a blackout period from Dec 24 to Jan 5. The web site is www.myfordbenefits.com or and I am quoting from the letter "Through an ACS Personal Benefits Rep at the NESC at 1-800-248-4444" Your Social sec # as your user ID and your birthdate as your password.
  7. Here is the wording from page 13 of your benefits book which you can view at this link after you sign in. http://www.at.ford.com/B2B/USHourly/Docume...ook%20Final.pdf When can I change my medical and dental plan elections? 8. The benefits books are available but you have to ask your ESSP rep. here is the link to the book on the www.at.ford.com site its a pdf and you will have to sigh in. http://www.at.ford.com/B2B/USHourly/Docume...ook%20Final.pdf
  9. My guess would be dumb Dennis, stupid and a lier.
  10. I agree with you that was in responce to the the prior post. All our families matter to us.
  11. Domestic partner benefits are a civil rights issue. Your spouse and your children don't have anything to do with the auto industry either but you still have family benefits. This is about being able to take care of my family too. As a active worker i deserve equal benefits to you.
  12. MTP's union told me no to that same question. If you are on lay-off when your 15 year date comes it does not mean you can bump at the 15 year level until you are back to work. That was their opinion last year when we were getting layed off.
  13. Have you tryed looking at some colleges in toledo. During the last buy out some MTP people found room there
  14. http://www.uawregion1a.org/regional_1a_staff.htm This link is e-mail address for region 1A. The others are national security like everything else in the UAW
  15. You have to get a form from your local. Don't let them tell they don't have one. After you finally get one from the local try to make a copy so when it gets thrown out you have a copy.
