  1. I ended up buying a 2021 Escape PHEV Titanium and canceling my 2022 order, so I'm afraid I can't speak to current wait times. Good luck!
  2. Just wondering if I'm alone in seeing less than advertised EV range. I've seen as little as 30 miles on a full charge. Granted, driving style has an impact no doubt and my wife has been primarily driving my 2021 Escape PHEV, but I'm just wondering if others are getting the 37 EV only miles (or more). Any tips on boosting the range? Thanks!
  3. Yeah, I got an email from Ford the next day I placed my order. So it's definitely worth calling your dealer and/or Ford about this.

  7. Thanks. The Sales Manager sent this as well: "If we are able to pull the order I will let you know. Otherwise if we are locked in and can't cancel that will take up our allocation and Ford will penalize us because its a COVP that will not be delivered to the customer who ordered it." I assume this is just BS based on what you said. It's really disappointing that some dealers are playing games like this.
  8. Are there magic words I need to tell a dealer to cancel a "confirmed and locked" order through the COVP program? I ordered a 2022 Escape PHEV on 10/3/21 and ended up buying an in-stock 2021 Escape PHEV last night from another dealer. I requested that my 2022 order be cancelled last night with dealer #1 and I'm getting told that Ford would need to make an exception to cancel the order. My understanding is production does not start until 11/2 and my order does not have a VIN and has not been assigned a production date at this point. Is this really a difficult process to cancel the order or is the dealer playing games with me? I feel that I'm giving the dealer more than fair notice that the order should be cancelled and we're still extremely early in the process. Thanks.
  9. Curious if there's a ballpark estimate on how backed up the 2022 Escape PHEV orders are. I put an order in on 10/3 and I believe Ford was going to start production on the 2022s on 11/2. Basically, do I have a reason to hope I'll be taking delivery by the end of 2021?
  10. I've ordered a 2022 Ford Escape PHEV, but I would really like to see an all-electric option. Hopefully this is already under consideration.
