  1. Hi, Would anyone have the official procedure from Ford on changing the PTU fluid in the 2017 Titanium? My ford dealer said they know nothing about it. I’d like to get a copy and bring it to them. I don’t have any local shops I trust. Thanks, Lenny
  2. Any ideas of what I can tap into for power in the rear of a (2015-2018)? Switched or timed. I want to install a rear facing dash cam with out having to run a wire to the front. Thanks
  3. Is there a way to change the cigarette power point from on all the time to only on when ignition is on? If not is there anything under or behind the glove box thats switched? lastly, if none of the above how about what fuse under the dash? Thanks for your help
  4. So the heating portion of the seats seam to work fine. The cooling portion, not so much. Is the heat delivered by air or heating elements? I hear a blower come on when I use cooling but not with heat even though they get warm. It's been mentioned that the cooling sucks on the 2017 and there might be a TSB, does anyone know the number? Now that it's cold out I won't need cooling till the spring. I just want to be prepared for the warm weather. (It can't come soon enough!) Thanks Lenny
  5. Wiring advice for a dash camera? I am installing one up by the rear view mirror on my 2017 Titaniam with the moon roof. (I'm assuming the 2015 & 2016 are the same) would there be a constant and switched power under the overhead consol? If so would anyone have a wiring diagram and know how to remove it? Or should I try to get the cables down the A Pillad and a cross the dash to get them to the fuse panel. I do not want to see any wires at all. thanks in advance
  6. My 2017 Edge Titaniam halogen lamps are terrible. I was considering these https://www.carid.com/2017-ford-edge-led-lights/ But every thing I've read says it's not a good idea, the housings and or reflectors are not design for it.
  7. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2017/03/02/ford-issues-safety-compliance-recall-in-north-america.html 32,000 sounds like a low number considering it covers October 2015 to February 2017
  8. Yes I am! Thank you. https://flic.kr/p/PHEDaX I'm not quite sure how to post, I hope this link works
  9. That's a really good question, I'll have to call tomorrow. What has me a little concerned is that there's a good chance that the Oakville plant will be going on strike. I read the union has a tentative agreement but the talk over on https://www.facebook.com/groups/318248465019492/?ref=ts&fref=ts seems to think it won't get ratified.
  10. I ordered a 2017 on 10/20/17. Titaniam Burgundy Velvet. From what I'm reading, it seems like I won't see my vehicle till Spring. I sure hope it's not going to take that long.... Lenny
  11. I just ordered a 2017 Ttitanium AWD Burgundy Velvet with the 3.5L Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (Ti-VCT) V6.
  12. Hi, I just ordered a 2017 V6 Edge Titaniam burgundy velvet for myself this afternoon. Does anyone know how long it takes for delivery? It's been a very long time since I actually ordered one directly from the manufacturer. Normally the dealer locates one or I buy a slightly used one. Thanks Lenny
  13. Well it's been over 3 months and the problem has not returned. It looks like it was the intermitted problem with the passenger door passive entry system. After they fixed that the problem hasn't returned.
  14. That is an excellent idea!! I'm going to look into hooking the timer up to the RF control, that way I could still open it up with the hard wired button.Thank you very much for your suggestion.
  15. Yep, that's it. There's been a lot of cars broken into lately. My glove box center conceal and over head was ransacked a couple of months ago, either I failed to lock the car or they got in with a code scanner. I was having trouble with the passive entry on the passenger door, sometimes it would not work at all and other times I would walk by the door with the key fob in my pocket and the doors would unlock on there own with out touching the handle. The dealer ended up replacing the handle and doing other stuff to it and it seems fine now. I also think this might have had something to do with battery going dead issue I was having, that hasn't happen since they fixed the handle. Sorry for rambling on.....
  16. Nope, just tried, on all the time.
  17. That's okay, I'm okay with the visor light not working when car is off. So, I'll have to identify the wire for the visor light in the A-Pillar and find a different feed. Any idea what's in there?
  18. I was wondering if anyone knows how the homelink is wired? I'm triying to get it to only work while the ignition is on. Right now it's on all the time. Mine is in the visor so I'm assuming the wires run down the A-Pillar. I guessing it's just a matter of identifying the power wire and moving it to a ignition on power wire. Unless, it needs to be on all the time so it doesn't loose it's programing. I dought it though, I've had my battery replaced and it still worked. Thanks Lenny 2013 Titainiam
  19. It's 2013 Titanium. Yes it has MFT with Navigation
  20. I'll mention that to them if and when it happens again. I'm hoping the passive entry on the passenger door that they repaired was the problem.
