  1. It's great to hear from another happy new MKZ owner, and it looks to be in perfect shape. Congrats, and best of luck with that sweet Black Label.
  2. I was able to use a $750 PCO and also the First Responder discount together, along with a few other rebates, back in 2018 with my Lincoln Dealer. I would assume that your Ford dealer wouldn't let a sale go over another $500 off, but nothing is for sure at a dealership.
  3. Back in 2018, when I bought my Lincoln, I had heard the same thing and requested a brochure for the MKZ when I was ready to buy. Well, I received the brochure and that was all at the time. Then a few weeks later, I had a deal all finalized for my MKZ, and was going to sign all the paperwork and drive away with my MKZ on a Friday. Thursdays mail shows up at my house, and there was the $750 Private Cash offer, perfect timing I thought. There is a PIN (a 9 or 10 digit code, IIRC) associated with this offer, which showed up in an Email few days after the brochure, so look out for that. I had a contact at Lincoln Concierge that I was able to call to get my PIN while I was at the dealer picking up my car, and was able to apply the $750. The offer has a month time frame, so request the brochure when you are 3 to 4 weeks away from making a deal.
  4. I prefer Mothers Clay Bar and Meguiars Carnuba wax. And thanks for the reminder, I'm about due for a 'Detail Day' myself.
  5. My department covers 5 towns, including the top 3 on the list of most densely populated cities in the country, according to Wikipedia anyway. The area covered begins on the west side of the Hudson River in NJ, across from midtown Manhattan. And sooooo many local residents commute and work in NYC, so the spread came here pretty quickly. Two more Dept. positive results since my post yesterday. People really need to stay in, this situation is not bein taken seriously enough by everyone. Hopefully Portland won't get hit too hard, if people stock up now and stay put anyway, that way it won't get chaotic and your daughter will be able to handle it like a pro. Back on track though, everyone just enjoy hanging out at home, whether bored or annoying one another. This is not vacation time, and a nice day shouldn't involve crowds out at the parks, unfortunately. That time will come soon enough.
  6. I get to work, the FD has to roll on. It's starting to hit our department more each day, a few positive results and even more out on quarantine now. Fun times. I put my nice Lincoln in quarantine too, got it back from the dealer oil change on St. Patricks day. I put the cover on it so it cannot get infected, and no harsh cleaners gonna mess up my Leather. Man, I miss that car...
  7. I have the Duratrac tires (LT) on my truck, sorry not a Ford, and think they are great. Not too noisy on the highway, and they work well on any road or non road surfaces. I drove through some deep snow with them, and these things seemed unstoppable. Plus they look awesome. If i were needing new tires now, I would definitely get them again.
  8. I've had a Truxedo Truxport on my truck (Not a Ford) for years, it's very similar to the Lo Pro roll up cover. The Truxport sits a bit higher than the Lo Pro, but it's been a great cover, and it's cheaper than the Lo Pro. That being said, I recently picked up a new Truxedo Lo Pro to replace my Truxport cover, it's starting to show it's age. But I found the new Lo Pro at a price that I could not pass up, just waiting out the winter to install the new one.
  9. I'm 12 miles away. I only go for car washes in the winter. As long as it's not freezing outside, I'd rather do it myself. The main reason that I had to go Black Label, was for the interior.
  10. Only certain states require front license plates, so it's up to the dealer, not Ford/Lincoln, to install them, as stated by akirby above. My dealer had no problem not installing the front plate bracket on my car, even though it is required in my state. I had them simply put it in the trunk, and said 'I'll do it'. Check out Bumper Plugs (.com), they will even sell them already painted for you.
  11. That is the same issue that I've had since owning my car. I was able to access that page only once to get an update. Since then, the SYNC page always shows the 'Loading' circle, which never goes away. This occurs on my desktop, and two laptops, and using different browsers does not help. Luckily I do get update via wifi... .
  12. Congrats, fordfusionforum is a good choice, and fordfusionclub is a dead area these days.
  13. Congratulations, and best of luck with it.
  14. Best of luck with it. It looks good even when wet, these constant rainy days in Jersey are getting old. See ya on the MKZ forum...
  15. Congrats. The MKZ is a great car, and the Revel Ultima system sounds incredible. And today is Friday, so let's see some pictures...
  16. Check out Wet Okole, these covers almost look like they came from the factory. Nice choice of colors, I have the 'Full Piping' covers in my pickup. They aren't cheap, but they are quality covers, mine are 8 years old now, and still looking good. If you call them, they give 20% off for Military, PD, FD, & EMS. And they will send you small swatches of the colors, I think 3 at most, so you can match your interior as close as possible.
  17. Delete the App and re-install, that usually clears up any issues.
  18. FYI: If you buy 100 shares of Ford stock and have them for 6 months, then you can request an X Plan number. Actually you can request two X Plan numbers per year, but the purchased new vehicle needs to be in your name.
  19. Look into Covercraft UVS100 sunshade, it's exactly what you're looking for. It's the only one I'll buy for my vehicles.
  20. Congrats, looks great. Best of luck with it.
  21. Contact Lincoln Concierge, they may be able to get more information and help you make the change. I found them extremely helpful during my purchase experience. After my initial 'Chat', we communicated via Email back and forth. Also, at the bottom of the Lincoln Concierge page, click on 'Get A Brochure'. Use the 'Get by Mail' option and click the '0-30 days' box. You should receive a brochure with your info on it with a $750 Private Offer on the inside page. About 4 days after receiving the Brochure, you'll receive an Email with an 11 digit code to use with the $750 offer. Don't request one too early though, there's a small window to use the offer, too early and it may expire before your MKZ arrives. I would request the brochure about 3 weeks before you expect the vehicle to arrive, it took about two week for it to arrive at my house.
  22. Yes, ordered it on Ebay (This seller). There's one listing for as low as $77 now. Some listings do not come with a key, so read carefully before ordering.
  23. Yes, exact same OEM key sealed in plastic. 3 Admin keys now listed in my menu.
  24. The key & FOB were $85, add $30 to cut the key blade (Which will vary between locksmiths equipped to cut it). So, $115 total.
