Why did they change the start date for employees who signed up to transfer???

Dont you people know we all work for the same company? We should hope that everbody that works for this company is gainfully employed and doing well!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its ashamed they have you people doing what they want you to do (Fighting with eachother). I mean come on people get your heads outta your a****.

I just want to know if anyone was told when they where going to Chicago. The last couple of times I moved they only told us a few days before we had to be there. All of those plants where close to eachother. I was kinda hoping with this being such a big move they would give some advanced notice???????

I was told those numbers are company wide by a friend at Walton Hills stamping. He was told by a labor relations rep. at Walton Hills . That inacvtive status what does that mean? You dont get a choice? what i mean is you cant turn it down like 3 times like you used to be able to do?

Well I heard 170 people signed to go to Chicago. Anybody else know anything different? And if only 170 signed up do they start forcing people that are laid off? Do they have a choice or do they have to go?

I used to work for one of the bossses thats at Chicago now and he was a good guy to work for a little jumpy but fair. I signed up yeterday so I might see you there? God I hope Im making a good decision? I think I am though and if its meant to be it will be.

That sounds about like any other plant people that work take the brunt and the bums get away with everything. I hope there is some O.T cause I like to work it at least 16hrs a week. I got kids and a woman ya know. I worked at maumee stamping till it closed and then transffered to Walton Hills stamping which is my home plant (I hate that place with a passion) got laid off for 4 months and then called to Cleveland engine. I signed up for Sandusky ACH plant and got that. Thats where I have been for seven months and I like it but it is a ACH plant they want to sell. I want to get a stable place I can be that permanent and temporary which Sandusky is. I Just hope Chicago is a good place with not a lot of asshole bosses

I was just wondering how the people and the work at Chicago Assembly plant are? Ive worked at plants where Management and the union get along and work together and now my home plant which is Walton Hills stamping which is like working in 1950's. Im hoping Chicago is a great working enviroment. Any comments would be appreciated.

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how chicago is? Im thinking about signing up. currently im in Sandusky makin headlamps and taillamps at a ACH plant. I woould also like to know if anyone can tell me a good area to live if I do decide to sign up?
