I read that piece as well and didn't like the way it was worded. I believe the V10 has been gone from the F-250 for many years and highly doubt the 7X is F-250 bound.

Anyone got a good reponse to this GM hack on PUTC? 1. Ford's Sport Trac did not sell and this Ranger will not sell either. Too heavy for the compact market and not capable enough for the half ton crowd to take seriously. 2. Ford's time-to-market performance on this is classic. By the time that interest in the mid size market is completely watered down, Ford will be selling the Ranger. It's a joke. 3. Ford could make a winner of this Ranger concept if they focused on the value buyer, the 25-35k price point. But they won't. They will try to goose the price on these Rangers into the mid 40s. It is for AM/FM radio. The mast antenna is needed for best reception. A lot of truck guys will be angry if they cannot listen to AM talk radio. The reception in our Ford car with the fin antenna is awful compared to my Ford truck.

I think the blogs are jumping the gun. When we first heard about the 4.8 in November, it said it was for the next generation and 2020 model year production.

If anyone thinks that Ford would have cancelled moving the plant to Mexico if Hillary had won the election, they are delusional. The CEO of FORD was quoted as contributing Trump’s pro business stance. DTJ is going to lift a lot of the EPA stranglehold regulations that will help Ford do business in the US vs Mexico. The 2017 Super Duties are not all high end trims near me. At my dealer there are 12 2017 Super Duties and 6 are XL or XLT.

You do realize wrote that Ford's tailgate looked like the 2009 F-150 at the Chicago Auto Show and implied that Ford was copying or following Toyota. You failed to mention that Ford had their concept tailgate out first in January '13 at NAIAS and it was also at the Chicago Auto Show. All I alm saying is why bring up the 2009 when the new F-150 concept was out? It is possible Toyota copied Ford's tailgate but that wasn't my point. Ford went first in 2013 and Toyota did blatantly copy some of Ford's design elements.
