  1. House keeping us part of the team leaders job discription and I believe tag is suppose to do it once a day. Do u want me to keep the line moving or worry about the floor?
  2. You know there isn't even a date to get you guys back. It's going to be longer than you think.
  3. Follow the chain start w/ committee then go up. But I heard they are screwing over a lot of new hires. Some crap about when you got hired in. Which is bull shit. I know 2 girls on my line one got hire a month or so before the other and the union is saying they have a different amount of time before their insurance kicks in. One might get it and the other might not. In my opinion if you are a "new hire" EVERYONE should have the same amount of time for the same things and if you Worked last year you should get profit sharing.
  4. I agree with the General on this you are going to have to wait til they get some people in the plant and trained before you go anywhere. You sound like the type of person that gives skilled trades a bad rep. I bet you haven't even been on the line that long. And you should be thankful that you are even going back to trades. Because its not like it's been a secret that the company wants to cut WAY down on trades and get people crossed trained so they can get rid of 1/2 of you guys.
  5. Lmfao…SOOOO TRUE!!!!! Isnt that the same guy that doesn't care about anybody else but himself? And the company & union have said and are saying they are going to do a lot of things that STILL haven't happened. Plus seeing that tool time or whatever your screen name is if you haven't learned by now that it doesn't matter what the contract says if whatever they do is to benefit the company(right or wrong) the union WILL back them and use some lame ass excuse as to why they are letting it happen. It's sad but true

  7. Yeah that was a weird way to put it. I'm glad the company doesn't allow fighting. Lol. If they did it'd be like a bar room brawl everyday.

  9. Seriously this is pry one of the rudest posts. If your working already and don't care about others why should we care if you are trades and working production? And just cuz that's the way it should happen doesn't mean that it will happen as soon as you expect it to.
  10. From what I heard was the two didn't get along she started hitting him then he grab her to make her stop she the. Bit him and he pushed her then she slipped and split her head open.
  11. I was thinking the same thing. It's crazy. I don't know if these people will get their jobs back … zero tolerance for fighting & harassment. But no matter how much I disliked someone which in a place that big is more than possible I'd NEVER lose my job and livelyhood over some A hole!!
  12. Ok. Just heard like 6 people got fired and someone got knocked out. Not saying its true everyone should know how plant rumors go.

  14. DTP has been doing : crews longer than 3 years there was a 7 month break but it's been at least 5 years. I know cuz that's how long I've been there. What happened to Ford wanting to put all North American Assembly plants on 3 crews 5 days a week? Cus I'm ready to go back to that now. Te company could get more units plus less medicals.JMO
  15. What happened to putting all North American plants on 5/8's? I'd love that. After 5 years on 4/10's I'm over it. Plus if they need OT only 2 out of the 3 have a chance to get it. So it makes more sense to me. I know it's just wishful thinking.
