  1. Any update? Did it ship? Eta? VIN#1FTFW1ETXBFA84460 Thanks, Cyberdman!
  2. Well that's great news. Hopefully it ships soon, I'll check back toward the end of the week if i don't hear anything form the dealer. Thanks
  3. How are we looking? My poor Saturn bit the dust Friday night, hopefully you have good news. VIN#1FTFW1ETXBFA84460 Thanks in advance!
  4. Any update on the following truck would be appreciated. Dealer # F48050 Order # 0301 The order is for a 2011 F150 SuperCrew Lariat with a 3.5 EB and a 157" WB. I believe this is the VIN# 1FTFW1ETXBFA84460, but the dealer had a b instead of a 8 in the sequence number. Can you verify that? Thanks a bunch.
  5. Ford had one of these on the Dyno at the North America International Auto show, and it sounded sweet when they were running it. Wish i was in the market for one

    10 post rule?

I agree ten posts go by quick and give you time to explore the forum and learn a few things. BTW that's 9
  7. How fast we forget that gas was at $1.75/gallon this time 2 years ago. $5 a gallon will be a reality sooner than we think. This year or next? Not likely, but it's very likely in the next 3-5 years.
  8. I was impressed with Ford, GM and Chrysler. I love the new focus and explorer, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee made stop, and the Buick looked great. All in all the Auto show was much improved and upbeat than last year ( no surprise there ). The Jag XK is still my dream car.
  9. I do the same thing log into forddirect and go dealer to dealer, then try different zip codes to branch out. It would be nice to search a radius, vs dealer by dealer.
  10. When you are dealing with low MPGs small improvements make a big difference. Lets take the new 5.0, which i assume is the 302 you are talking about: EPA Numbers: 5.0 14/19 3.5 15/21 That 1 mpg in the city is a 7% increase and the 2 mpg hgwy is a 10% increase. I'll take a 7% --> 10% decrease in my fuel bill. Plus the extra HP and torque for pulling the trailer.
  11. So i was messing around this afternoon trying to calculate when my new F150 will be built and came up with some interesting findings. Looking at build dates of trucks on ford.com dealer inventory/orders from Jan 5th --> Jan 21 the difference in sequence number (12 -17 digits in the vin ) is 13071, seeing as there were roughly 15 working days that puts production at right around 870 trucks a day. The latest truck I could find had a sequence number of A71262 and my sequence number is A84460 so that puts roughly 13198 trucks between now and when my truck will be built. Time will tell, but if I'm right my truck should have a build date of around 2/9. What do you think?
  12. I believe anything built after around January 5th is Job 2. From what I can tell roughly vin sequence numbers A50xxx or greater.
  13. Being able to get real time ( or even no so real time) status info from a consumer accessible website would be a big win for Ford.
