Anyone here in the good old US of A get their dealer to turn on the daytime running lights?

That is just so absolutely hilarious. Take it from a 'car guy' who drove a '05 Altima as a commuter the last four years. It did its job and never let me down, but I felt that way every stinkin' moment I was in that car. Took one for the team....but no more. Night and day difference

Yeah, my first pic was way too busy and didn't work. I was hoping you could change the uncluttered Ford Logo pic on start up. That would be cool, but guess they just have to remind us what brand car we bought in case we forget??

When I search ETIS for my car it comes up as a Transit Connect Van? Any ideas?

Well Turbo-T, I guess I'm doing better than I thought on man-cave. Have- Fridge, comp station, 3 bike-(cycles), cable tv w/small LCD, comfy chair and lots a tools Need- Comfy recliner, Big LCD, pool table, bunch of other guy stuff and everything else the heck out.... Want- Peace and quiet... I can dream-yes?

We have a two-car garage that is not. What it is is a laundry room, gym, work shop, storage for the 10,000 boxes of X-mas, Halloween and other holiday crap that keeps me married & a wanna-be man cave Car in driveway, not happy....next house

Thanks for the info on the 110V. Its just about the only feature my youngest really cared about We do a lot of road trips camping and boating. Last three tow beasts all had rear seat entertainment systems. ('96 Explorer was a VHS!) This car...No, don't need that anymore

I do have the shutters and have been meaning to check their operation in various temperature settings. I keep forgetting but the one time so far they closed all the way on first start up and then immediately opened all the way. It was warm out 65 degrees Temperature and speed controlled??

The drivers room is actually kind of tight in a couple place. Seems the left foot rest is pretty pronounced and sticks up a little higher than other vehicles I've driven. Seats are snug in the bolsters, but really no different than most upper scale vehicles with a performance focus. Great for me I love them The one other deal that does bug me a bit is the floorboard raises up a couple inches before it gets to the front seat. IE: I sometimes like to bring my left leg all the way back at an angle and it gets restricted Pretty nit-picky stuff and really no biggy, but I think if you are of large status it may be annoying. I'm mid size at 5" 11" 175

The manual says not to use the 110V outlet for: Cathode Ray TV's Motor Loads (Vacuums, elec. saws etc.) Precision measuring devises Devises requiring extremely stable power supply's- Micro computer controlled elec blankets, touch sensitive lamps etc. Do laptops or tablets fall into that catagory? Sounds like not or you would think they would have called these out as they are likely the most popular devises likely to be used??

I have never bought an extended warranty initially. Why purchase something you won't use for x amount of time I always tell the finance guy I'll wait until the standard warranty is close to expiring before considering the extended and consider the service history of the car. I've never bought it then either.
