I love the overall profile of the hatch, and I actually like the FOCUS badge on the rear, especially if they make it black on the ST. However, two details are standing out to me as almost unforgivably atrocious. First, is the sculpting in the sheet metal just below the belt line. The second is the styling of the lower front bumper/fog light area. Almost as ugly and busy as the GTIs.

Can someone clarify? Is the focus for all global markets being manufactured in China?

That's odd...I thought only the recently updated 2.0 that's in the edge/Escape is twin scroll

Someone on reddit posted what appears to be a section from the 2018 order guide and it lists the ST as having twin scroll turbo in addition to the new colors. Many seem to think the turbo info is a typo though.

Any idea of what changes will happen to 2018 STs?

interesting. here's the wording taken directly from the 2017 c-max order guide: EXTERIOR ● New — Redesigned headlamps, grille opening and taillamps — Grille–Ebony with Chrome Surround–Standard on SE — Grille–Chrome with Chrome Surround–Standard on Titanium — LED Signature Lighting–Standard on SE

there's literally no changes to the 2017 ST aside from a different shade of orange.

they should/could put the 1.5EB in the Titanium trim Focus...at least make it an option

People felt the same about Mexico before NAFTA. We will be buying several different "American" car models made in China within the next 10 years.

Is this a dealer-only update, or can this be performed via USB download? I checked the syncmyride website and there's no mention of an update.

I'm pretty sure it's normal for new cars. I experiences this as well for the first 100 miles or so. It's since gone away for me.
