  1. I'm praying for a Bronco Sport Trac (Pickup). I own a Gen II Sport Trac and love it. The short bed is perfect as I don't haul or need it to do any major work. Just weekend warrior stuff. The short bed will also allow for better break over and departure angles than the Gladiator. Bring it on Ford!!!! DO it!
  2. Hopefully they reveal the Bronco/Bronco Sport ASAP. Give us (and their stock) a boost!
  3. Also, a little known fact: In Japan, American car manufactures can only advertise in English and not Japanese. The have this law to protect the Japanese domestic car manufacturing.
  4. Perhaps the Maverick will be a pickup plus offer a CUV, but slightly longer than the Escape it is based on...think if it as a 3 row Escape.
  5. I agree, 4 door only. I don't see any reason for a supercab version. Possibly a single cab for fleet, but that is a stretch too.
  6. I honestly hope that Ford...if the Fusion Active (my opinion: should just be called the Fusion - leave off "active") makes it as capable or more capable than the Outback. Also...any idea if there would be a Lincoln version? High priced wagon segment is dominated by the Germans and word on the street is Caddy is about to jump back in.
  7. Much like any modern Ford or other manufacturer, the "base" truck might start at/near $20k, but will have VERY limited supply and a nice fully loaded Maverick will prob end up around $30-$34k
  8. I think Bronco Sport Trac would be a great name for a true Gladiator competitor - Maverick is a solid name for the compact Bronco pickup
  9. I've liked Farley from day 1 - not only a car guy, but a Ford guy. He has the smarts and passion. I would vote for him to be CEO.
  10. Sport Trac was technically (at the time) a SUT or Sport Utility Truck. A truck made and built off an SUV platform that was catered to the "activity" lifestyle vs hard core work. It would fit for the Gladiator competitor or the smaller pick up.
  11. So are we thinking the following....Bronco lineup is possible ? Bronco (2 and 4 door) Bronco Sport Trac/Maverick (Gladiator Competitor) Bronco Sport Bronco Sport Pickup (Ranchero/Courier) That would be a very STRONG lineup...love it.
  12. As a current Sport Trac owner...I would LOVE a Bronco Sport Trac...Bring it!
  13. https://www.tfltruck.com/2020/04/leaked-2022-ford-maverick-truck-could-this-be-the-next-ford-ranger-or-bronco-based-pickup/
  14. This is great news! I just hope the cab and back seats are large enough for 2 adults.
  15. Dang! I was really hoping for a Rivian based Lincoln!
  16. I believe they used the orange and didn't cover everything on purpose...intentional leak!
  17. From Ford's perspective - even though NOW is a fantastic time for a LIVE Bronco reveal...it's not idea for their stock price and that is what they care about. My guess is, they will wait until everything bottoms out first...and then do it, so they get a boost in stock price.
  18. Getting back on topic.... Does anyone know when they plan or planned to show this new small truck?
  19. I'm loving it! Honestly, I do wish it had a power roll down rear window and a truck tail gate rather than a swing window - it would make removing the hard top slightly easier with out the window weight or worry that you are going to break the rear window. Plus, you can roll down the window while driving. However...I'm sure the aftermarket will take care of that!
  20. Hope they launch with a Hybrid Bronco. Just like Wranglers...most never leave the pavement unfortunately. So, a hybrid makes a lot of sense even if it's not the most hard-core off-road.
  21. I hope they get the name right...Courier is NOT a good name. Ranchero is much cooler and better for sales. I've said this before, I also believe for the upcoming Bronco pickup (Gladiator Fighter), Bronco Sport Trac is a perfect name... Bronco Bronco Sport Trac (Pickup) Bronco Sport (Baby Bronco) Goes well with Ford's history of SUV's and SUT's... Explorer Explorer Sport Trac (Pickup) Explorer Sport (2-door)
  22. A Bronco Sport Trac (Pickup) hybrid with a manual - I doubt that combo is a reality...but if it is...take my money!!!!!
  23. Wonder if they will have any powertrain updates? When will they F150 Hybrid come to market finally?
  24. I currently own a 2008 Sport Trac and LOVE it still to this day. I think they can still do the same formula with the bronco...short bed and just call it the Bronco Sport Trac - both names have history and a following. There is a HUGE Sport Trac following and owners clubs still to this day.
