  1. Finally the dealer duplicated the issue and performed the 13-9-9 TSB. So far so good. No clunking sound.
  2. Finally got my car back on Monday. After the second time they fixed it, a ding magically appeared on my roof. Of course the dealer said it was a golf ball that did it, that just so happens to be exactly where the did the work(front driver side roof rack), but they agreed to fix it. There ding specialist could repair it, so it had to go to the body shop. Got it back and it looks good. The jury is still out if I still have a leak. I'll let the board know after I get a good rain storm.
  3. It rained last night, and yep, I still have the leak. I'd go to a different dealer if they weren't so far away... Back to the shop again. This is getting ridiculous.
  4. Dealer could not duplicate the sound, and as such, they did not perform this latest TSB.I need to schedule a ride along and duplicate it for them... Argg
  5. Supposedly the leak was not due to the windshield sealant but the roof rack. I'm told the glass guys came and tested the windshield and were positive it was not the windshield. Dealer re did the roof rack seal on top of the driver side. Only time will tell...
  6. A new TSB. I saw this on escape city. I've had this issue since day one. I already had it in for the 13-5-11 TSB relating to clunking noise. Car goes in the shop on Friday, I'll keep the board posted... TSB 13-09-09: CLUNK/RATTLE NOISE FROM FRONT END DURING PARKING MANEUVERS AND/OR OVER ROUGH SURFACES AT LOW SPEEDS BETWEEN 8-32 KM/H (5-20 MPH)
  7. Took it to the dealer yesterday. I was told the leak is the sealant in between the windshield and the car. Service advisor told me she has to call to verify that it's covered. Some cock and bull story about glass is only covered for 12 months, but she thinks it's covered under the body warranty. blah blah blah... I need to reschedule for there "glass guy" to handle it. Also,I had them look at my ecoboost tag. They had to order a new emblem, paint was peeling off of mine.
  8. Thanx for the info, I appreciate the help. I don't think this is my issue because I could feel that my headliner was wet. After a closer look and in good light, I can see a very faint stain, so the leak is definitely starting at the top of the car somewhere...
  9. Gator.. Mine does the same thing. The water is traveling behind that plastic trim and works it's way down and drips onto the floor mat. Luckily I have husky floormats. This is how I first noticed it. There was a little puddle on my floor. I'll keep the board posted as well.
  10. I hate to resurrect a dead thread but... I now have a leak. Had the car over a year and there is no stain on the headliner yet, so I'm sure it wasn't there in the beginning. The wet spot is right were the plastic meets the headliner on the driver side. What was the consensus on this issue? Bad sealant on the windshield, roof rails, both or other? It goes in the shop Friday. I'm guessing they'll do the easy thing and add some caulk around the windshield and say it's fixed. We all know how this works, It'll probably take several trips to get it fixed.
  11. I really liked that arm rest that moves forward, wish I had it. The retractable cargo shade movement was kool as well. Does the 2014 have these features in the US?
  12. I still have the noise but replacing the strut mount did help.I think at this point, I'll wait until ford really knows how to fix it before I take it back.
  13. Here ya go fellas. The thump is job #8 on the list. Just got it back and so far no thumping noise but I only went back and forth down my driveway a few time. Well see.. BTW-I had my oil changed in this visit and like others it showed 5w 20 being used.Service manager looking into it but he thinks its a typo. blah, blah, blah.
