  1. Low range is meant for maximum engine braking. We have 2 hybrids in the house, 2016 Fusion and 2017 C-MAX. I've noticed that when driving down steeper hills with hill descent control activated (in drive) and regen isn't strong enough to control speed it will use the ICE to slow the vehicle.
  2. I'm not sure on the 2.7L, but the 3.5L Ecoboost switched back to the aluminum pans they used to have sometime earlier this year. The leaking plastic pans are bad enough our parts dept keeps them in stock.
  3. There is not, Expedition's didn't get a cabin filter until the 2018 model year.
  4. The setting in the cluster is for a separate "feature" where it will shut the car off of it is left idling in park for too long. Both are designed to enable on every key cycle.
  5. Just checked, Rock Auto has loaded Motorcraft struts available for this car. Edit: Not sure how to post links with my phone, just look for strut/spring/mount assembly.
  6. There is a button on the left side of the shifter that activates/deactivates hill descent control. That light tells you it's turned on.
  7. Do you have the heads up display? There was a message released a couple days ago staying that there is supposed to be some hash marks near the rear view mirror that the toll transponder should be in.
  8. I remember being a little frustrated when I was ordering my 2013 Focus ST and couldn't get a backup camera. You could get it in an SE, but the loaded performance model? Nope.
  9. There might be an option in the instrument cluster called something like "auto engine shutoff". Downside is this option has to be selected every key cycle if you want it all the time.
  10. I wasn't trying to defending anyone, I meant that as more of a general statement.
  11. Especially when the noise only happens intermittently on a road that's two hours away. Having the customer ride with the tech really helps if the noise is easily reproducible.
  12. The final point for inspection is at the dealer. Should be done just before delivery.
  13. Not on Lincoln's, there is a much more in depth process for inspection. Usually takes a couple of hours if done properly.
