Agreed what I need s the Kuga's wiring schematic. I have the service DVD for my Escape.

So I'm about to pull the trigger and order a set of rear LED light from the UK. They are for the Titanium X Kuga. I believe 12 volts is pretty standard worldwide(can't believe the US didn't do this differently as well). Does anyone have any input on why this might NOT work. The body styles look exactly the same. I wonder where the Escapes and Kugas sheet metal is fabricated?? We're the dies cast from the same lot?? Chime in folks. FYI, I'm dealing with Trevor, who is in BC Canada. He orders all the European car parts for Canada.

Did you get it fixed yet? Reason I ask is because I'm about to pull the trigger on Rear LED's and I would sell you mine at a very good price.

Sorry to hear about this. I know the feeling. It sucks because its always on your mind until you get it fixed.

I didn't get the NAV package with my E, but I can't help but think of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy when you folks talk about your NAV's.

Yes to that. Sorry I wasn't very clear. I have had chips so deep that it took several application of top coat to build it up.

I will say this, I've never seen a vehicle like the Escape where so many colors look good on it. IMO the black, whites, ruby red, blue, ginger ale, and now the sunset and gold really make it hard to pick which one is my favorite. I do love my Ginger Ale, and I don't think it looks as good on the Edge, etc.

Oh, and the only other thing I'm a little envious of in the 2014 is te two new colors, Suset and some kind of Gold ( late availability).

I wonder why it says it is not compatiable with the Escape. Have not tried yet.

You need the sunroof if you have NAV. That way when the NAV isn't working you just stick your head out the top and get your bearings.

Yeah, I don't care for it either. I'm not sure i like the way the packages are put forth for the 2014. I like my HID lights without all the other stuff. Only thing I'm VERY curious about is the tow package with hands free lift gate. If it can be retrofitted then great. I would have the perfect set of options. Oh, one other thing. I do like the fact that the rear view camera is standard and standalone. I'm a little jealous of that one.

Glad it worked for you. What I believe is the recommended method is to use touch-up paint to "color" the chip, but then use top-coat to "fill in" the rest. Many folks then recommend letting this cure for as long as possible to allow the top coat to harden. The longer the better, like several days to couple weeks. Sands and polish much better. Also, I usually finish with 2000 grit or finer, wet of course, after soaking in water overnight. Just my $.02 after much trial and error.

I would like to re-visit ths and try to stay on topic. When I get in my wife's Honda, at a stoplight while in drive it is so smooth that you don't know it's running. My Escape on the other hand has all kind of vibrations that I feel through the brake pedal. When I put it in neutral most of the vibration/rough idle feeling goes away, but not all of it. Is this normal??

The Ford dealers don't put in full synthetic. If they did you would be charged for it.

I agree, the camera would of been a nice stand-alone feature for the 2013.

Skynet and the Terminator are next. I opted out for this package because I can still drive and parallel park faster than this system.

That's all fine and dandy and nothing against you at all, but WHY THE HELL DOES IT NEED ALL THIS SHIT!!!! GPS crap has been out for YEARS!!! The should be the easiest and most trouble free tech option on ANY vehicle. I use my iphone and garmin, didn't get th Nav package. For 900 bucks they can suck it.

I have had this happen to me also, where I step on the gas and there is no power for a few seconds. I don't know much about automatics except I don't like them and I miss my manual transmission. This 6-speed transmission may explain some of the symptoms versus a 5-speed transmission. I was going to get mine re-flashed, or hoping Ford came out with an updated software for the transmission. I think when I got the vehicle I drove it too timid, so I want to get a re-flash and drive it realistically. Of all the performance catagories, I would vote the transmission shifting on this vehicle the biggest let-down for me. Very happy with everything else performance wise.
