  1. I replaced my reverse lights with a pair of LEDs that I ordered from iJDMTOY.com and no flickering or pulsing. I also replaced the parking lights and trunk light, no problems.
  2. I was the guy that mentioned "DayTimeBrightLights" in another post. I have been in contact with Dan, the owner, and he is going to get some of the resistors mentioned above. He should have them tested by the end of this week. I will let you guys know his findings or you can just email him. Much thanks to Jamers for his hard work/research and sharing it with the rest of us.
  3. I had Dan at DAYTIME BrightLites, LLC make me up a set and we had the same problem; LEDs pulsing. He tried a couple different LED bulbs and also installed a resistor on one set, still had problems. You might want to send him an email and see if he solved the problem yet. info@DAYTIMEBrightLites.com
  4. I get condensation on my front windshield. The owners manual said to leave the defrost on; this is only vehicle that I have owned with this issue.
  5. This is the LED I used in my trunk. Plenty of light. Purchased from iJDMTOY.com 6-SMD-T10-LED-Bulbs-01.jpg 8-SMD-LED_22.jpg
  6. These are the bulbs I installed as my reverse lights. Plenty of light (6000K Xenon White, 900 lumens). Purchased them from iJDMTOY.com 5W-Error-Free-921-LED-Bulbs-00.jpg
  7. Im having the same problem. Dan at DAYTIMEBrightLites.com made me a pair of puddle lights with similar bulbs and they flickered. He also made me a pair with resistors installed and the same thing happened. He has ordered another kind of LED, a Can-bus LED, that he's waiting for. Once he installs these bulbs I will be getting them to try. I will post the outcome some time this coming week.
  8. I'm actually going to be replacing my DDM Tuning 35W ballast, 6000K bulb kit. I was not happy with the light output and the color of the 6000K bulbs. I will be replacing it with a 50W ballast, 6000K Philips bulb. I used this set up on my last car and was very pleased.
  9. From the info I could find, the 50/55 watt ballast will produce a 40% brighter light than the 35 watt ballast and higher lumens. I don't think you will get flashed with the higher watt ballast.
  10. If I wasn't leasing the car, I would copy you. It should look badass. Post pictures if you end up doing it.
  11. I think the Cree bulbs will be the brightest out of the bulbs you ordered. Lets us know what you ended up going with.
  12. A couple pictures of the lights. I'll try and get one of the reverse lights and I'm working on the puddle lights too.
  13. I tried replacing the headlights and parking/running lights without removing the bumper and I was unsuccessful. There is room, but it is very minimal and hard to work in. I removed the bumper over the weekend to install HIDs and replace the parking/running bulbs, very easy to do. With the bumper removed you have access to the headlight housing and changing the bulbs is so much easier.
  14. 194 with Globe Voltage: 9-14v Beam Angle: 270o Polarity Bias: Yes 11mm dia. x 26mm overall Made to look like the standard glass 194 bulb. All the advantages of leds, but still has the retro look and size of the original 194 glass bulbs. Super White, Warm White, Blue, Red, Amber, Green Order 194 Bulbs (shown above): $4.99 ea. I ordered these bulbs for the running/parking lights, super white from autolumination.com As far as the reverse lights, I ordered them from ijdmtoy.com and they are currently out of stock so I could not get a part number or picture. I will check back in a week to see if they are in stock and let you know. Hope this helps.
