  1. My understanding is that with the larger wheels that wheel locks do not fit due to the design of the center of the wheel.
  2. I odered wheel locks for my Corsair. The available locks do not fit. Lincoln and the dealer are telling me that there is no solution at this time. The company is thinking of returning my $75. However, they promised that when a solution is found I will be contacted. Anyone else having this issue?
  3. The car is great. The technology works very well. The only negative is that I ordered wheel locks. Lincoln tells me that the wheel locks for the Corsair do not fit. Today they told me that they do not have a solution and will be refunding my $75. They also informed me that they will continue to work on a solution and contact me when found. I and the Corsair ceramic coated last week and the finish looks wonderful. Pricey but, I believe that it will be worth the expense.

  5. Dealer informed me today that I have a VIN and a build date of 9/30. Sounds like delivery in Maryland end of October early November.

  7. stopped at dealer and order new Corsair Reserve. About 10 K more than my 2015 MKC. My guess is Late October.
  8. JUST ARRIVED. I am now the owner of the MKC. The car is terrific! The ride, power and overall quality can not be matched at it's price point. I now have the MKZ and the MKC and love both cars. I just hope Lincoln can get folks into the show room.
  9. On Saturday my MKZ would not start. A series of system faults appeared on the screen. The car was towed to the dealer on Monday. Two days and a new battery later I picked up the car and stopped at a store. When I returned same issue. It would not start and a number of messages listing faults appeared. Back to the dealer where they tell me there is a communications problem between the various sensors. It was obvious they had no idea what the codes indicated. They are contacting Ford and are going to request an engineer to evaluate the problem. They said that the process may take a week. I debated between the Lexus and the MKZ and I am not feeling confident in my decision. I have enjoyed my 2500 miles but, this is my 4th time back in 3 months to the dealer for electrical and paint issues. I am becoming a bit frustrated. I am not sure how long I will wait before looking into taking action to replace this car.
  10. i ordered my Car on November 9 and it finally arrived on April 18. Great looking car but, there is a 6 inch scratch on the bumper and 3 other chips on the quarter panel. Dealer said bring it back on Monday and we will have it back to you on Wen. Yesterday I was told that when the body shop removed the bumper they broke the support clips and that new clips would be delivered today. Today I was called and told that the clips are on back order. The dealership is removing clips from an MKZ in inventory and plan to install in my car tomorrow. The good news is that they did provide me with a white MKZ to use but, it is not the same as the Ice Storm I been waiting 5 months to enjoy. Since the beginning Lincoln has demonstrated they have a long way to go before they are elite.
  11. I ordered my car on 11/09/2012 and was told today that the care is finally on its way. Left Mexico 3/31 and was in New Mexico early today. Dealer and LCS tell me that I should have the car next week. I hope this process is finally coming to an end. Lincoln has a lot to learn about luxury treatment.
  12. My order date with the dealer was 11/09/2012. Today I was told by LCS that the car shipped last Sunday and will arrive any day. An hour ago a different LCS rep called to tell me that the car will be moved to the ramp on Sunday for shipping. At that point they should be able to provide me with an ETA. Just another story in the continuing saga of the 2013 MKZ. Not sure what to believe. The dealer has an MKZ with my same options with an ETA of 4/10. I am thinking I may exchange my order for their soon to be MKZ. I contacted Lincoln Makers program and asked if that would present any problem. They told me they would get back to me tomorrow. My wife and I have about had it with this so call luxury line. Horrible support!
  13. I was called yesterday by LCS and told my car had left Mexico. i was told the car should arrive at the dealer in 5-10 days. I am hoping that finally this process may be near the end. Placed order 11/09/2012 Processed 01/10/2013 Build Date 02/10/2013 Ship Date 03/23/3013 Arrival Date ???????
  14. On 3/22 the car was returned from the offsite to the factory. I was told that on 3/24 the car would ship directly to the dealer. Today I was called by the dealer and told that the car was moved from the factory to an offsite location and is again waiting shipment. My assumption is that the new offsite location is a staging area for the transportation. I have ordered cars before but, I have never seem such a horrible process. What should have been a good experience has turned into a true pain. Since November 9 I have been told many different tails. Not sure what has been true but, this is getting old.
  15. Yes it is a Hybrid with the Pano roof. The car was moved off site 2 weeks ago and returned Wen for shipment.
