  1. The car actually ended up coming in and I picked it up on Monday evening - sorry for the delay on getting the photo up... I've been busy, but I love the new car!
  2. Good day Cyberdman, Would love another update - how far did my shiny new car go in a week's time? 3FA6P0K9XDR289692
  3. Hello again cyberdman - looking to see if there are any updates available for my order. 3FA6P0K9XDR289692 Thanks so much!
  4. Hello, Hoping to see if there is any information available for my order. My VIN is: 3FA6P0K9XDR289692 Thank you so much for your time - your service is invaluable!
  5. Well, on 2/18 I ended up ordering a 2013 Fusion Titanium. All that was available from dealers in the network were either base Titaniums or fully loaded - and seeing as I didn't want to pay the extra $4k for features I don't need, I ordered my custom car just the way I wanted it. I was quoted 6-8 weeks by one dealer and 8-10 weeks by the dealer I ended up buying through (the first didn't have a titanium to test drive) and that makes today 7 weeks. So far, I've heard from the dealer once about 2½ weeks ago with a VIN and a build date of 4/1. I'm not sure when I should expect to get my vehicle, judging from the stories on the forums - but I'm beyond anxious to get my new car as I'm currently driving a 2005 Focus with 135,000 miles! It'll be quite the upgrade. Here is the window sticker: http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webviewhybrid/WindowSticker.aspx?vin=3FA6P0K9XDR289692 I've heard that you should be able to derive the build date from the window sticker, but the information I was reading seemed out of date - hopefully the "03 27 13" indicates the build date because maybe that means it's ahead schedule? One can only hope! We all know the saying about wishing in one hand...
  6. What kind of vehicle did you order? I ordered a 2013 Fusion Titanium and was told 8-10 weeks. Have you seen this website: http://www.researchmaniacs.com/Ford/TrackFactoryCarOrders.html I put my VIN into that website and couldn't really determine much information from it.... but it was nice to see that after a few days of checking with no results, a window sticker was found right around the date that my dealer said would be the build date.
  7. I'm not familiar with ETIS - I googled ETIS Ford and found a site where I could put in the VIN of my vehicle. The vehicle I ordered is a 2013 Fusion Titanium, which I found the correct window sticker from fordlabels.webview.biz but ETIS thinks the VIN I have is for a Transit Connect!!
  8. Yikes - I came here hoping to find information saying that my 2013 Fusion Titanium I ordered on 2/18 would be nearing an expected date but after reading around this forum I'm thinking I may be waiting quite a bit longer! The dealer so far had only said that it had a build date of 4/1. I thought a car only took about 18-24 hours to go from a pile of parts to fully assembled but I guess there's a ton of other stuff that needs to happen!
  9. I have a 2005 Focus and can say that I thought the same thing when I bought my car - but the "harness tape" as theoldwizard refers to it as is still intact and doing it's job. So ugly as it may be, it seems to be sufficient!
  10. Hahaha, this made me laugh. I guess it is a foreign concept if you've never driven or owned a manual.
  11. I have a 2005 Focus SE with about 135,000 miles. I get right around 22 MPG city and if I'm out on the highway I'd say it gets about 26-27.
  12. The car definitely looks sexy, not liking the SVT badge however.
  13. Thanks for this info! I'm going to order a brochure right now and see if I get any kind of coupon that I can use... That would certainly help seeing as I'm ordering the 19" Y-Spoke upgrade.
