  1. Wish they’d fix Build and Price so I could visualize what I’d like to order.
  2. With our fourth child due any day now I wholeheartedly agree and it would be a very tempting purchase for an adventure vehicle with adequate room for the family and supplies. ETA… do the “Trail” as Ford is pitching it, higher roof and a canvas for builders. For the passenger variant, go with a low roof for clearance and access to a roof rack/tents while bringing over the Timberline name.
  3. They’re basically copying what we use on our K-9 Unit cars and integrating it in an OE way. So given the tech is there and has been for awhile, this honestly should be an easy upgrade going forward.
  4. Mechanically I didn’t doubt it’d be a hoss (pun), and that’s turned up true. This thing will be a monster.
  5. Oh I am and I hope you’re right but it’s just giving me a weird vibe, like had they approached the F-150 Raptor in the same way it’d look like…
  6. Now that’s what the Raptor fenders need to look like. Wondering if this announcement is an “Easter egg” for the Raptor as well.
  7. Especially among the Tremor crowd, you’d see A LOT of interest in a Godzilla Hybrid and I am definitely one of them. That engine power with the electric availability to power a remote camp (trailer) via the ProPower would be a HUGE win in the overlanding arena. That’s not even bringing into play construction folk.
  8. I know a company like Fiberwerx will probably step up but I’d like to have seen what flared quarter panels would have looked like in lieu of simply extended versions of the current flares.
  9. Agreed!!!! Here in OK the “BRRRRRT” custom tag was available and thought that’d be perfect on a flat gray Warthog with the front “O” In the grill modified to look like the front of a Vulcan cannon ?
  10. I wish our city fleet manager was one of those who paid attention to the data. Instead we’re stuck with his Dodge roots from his days working at corporate.
  11. Unless you specifically want a bio hazard on wheels which has been driven as hard as possible under the watch of questionable mechanics... I’d stay far away from anything for sale at the end of its service life.
  12. This different than with the Utility? I’m able to source one of those as an active officer.
  13. While I’m now eye balling a Super Duty... the idea of a Responder with the interior upgrade package is enticing.
  14. Not seeing the Black Appearance Package on the Order Guide for the XLT. Bad info from the media releases or an error on the guide? It still just shows the “Lariat Black Appearance Package”.
  15. Love the screen integration. Also LOVE that the Black Appearance Package is trickling down to the XLT as that’s the level our family focuses on. Been eyeing a black Tremor but the chrome was a no go and Lariat out of the price range. 2022... XLT... Tremor... all blacked out... I’m in.
  16. Nice. Had no idea and hadn’t seen it demonstrated. Thanks for the info!
  17. Was going Bronco and have an early reservation but decided against that with the climate of the world. Thinking of going back to truck and the PowerBoost just went to the top of the list. Three improvements I’d like to see though; • add an all weather outlet next to the license plate like a trailer plugin so you can run power and keep your bed cover or shell sealed up and secure. • have the ability within FordPass to monitor the power screen from inside your home so you can keep an eye on the electrical load without going outside to the truck. • find a way, someway, to integrate the 36 gallon extended tank to provide even longer run time in such a scenario. • OH... and get it on a 250 stat! Compare the price of a new truck AND an installed home generator and you’re at the price of a PowerBoost model so it becomes a wash. Only now you have the power mobile.
  18. In what would be a weird trickle down, I hope this (the form factor) makes its way down to the Computer Screen option on the Interceptor. Vertical alignment for a screen linked to a laptop is idiotic.
  19. If they did KR it... it’d need to go to the opposite end of the spectrum and be designed as a true, bare bones ranch truck you could drive through the herd checking fencing and the like. Something you wouldn’t mind having cattle rub up on or getting “debris” from the pasture on the floorboard.
  20. My bad, given the discussion had migrated toward the Bronco, should’ve specified the B&P for the 2021 Expedition.
