  1. Finally official what we've all been expecting. Ford to delay all-electric SUV to focus on hybrid vehicles (cnbc.com)
  2. That's my recollection as well. I remember a rumor that the Interceptor was based on the Panther platform. Not sure how true that was, but would have been a cool next gen Crown Victoria. Speaking of Panthers, no way the Continental was a preview of the Town Car and mid-size Continental, considering the refreshed Town Car was about to go on sale and the Continental was ending production.
  3. Increasing production and dropping prices: Ford cuts price of EV Mustang Mach-E, following Tesla's cuts (cnbc.com)
  4. What is your source for that? There were some light rumors around the great recession that they were going to seriously cut back, but that obviously didn't come to fruition. Today there are five factory Ford Cup teams.
  5. That's not really true. Dodge and Ram both advertise in NASCAR and Toyota has been a heavy spender. Last year Toyota spent $4.4 million and Ram $4.2 million on TV ads. Dodge would still be in NASCAR if not for Penske switching to Ford.
  6. Ford dropped its sponsorship of the race after the finale was moved from there to Phoenix. Not sure if the on track vehicles are still Fords.
  7. Pretty cool ad, although I was hoping we'd see more in the way of concrete product, even if just a glimpse.
  8. Wall Street likes Farley and that they're going to have a clear plan for electrification. Expect the price to keep going up.
  9. I bought in at $5.56 and again at $4.75. I wish I would have bought more because the $4.75 purchase is up more than any other stock I own right now.
  10. Do we know that the Taurus is moving to Flat Rock? I though since that initial report, we since found out it will be staying in Chicago?
  11. When does Fusion production start? I've heard early September, but someone else who claims to work at Ford said it is going to be delayed and "it's common knowledge to the employees." Is there any truth to this?
