  1. Retired from LTP March 1, got mine exactly 6 weeks later.
  2. They said 4-6 weeks, and tomorrow will be 6 weeks for me. I was a little nervous leaving before the 4/1 date on the paperwork, pretty relieved that Ford followed through on this.
  3. I left Livonia at the end of February. My buying payment is showing on my credit union account as a pending deposit today.
  4. SRI information sheet said 4-6 weeks, but the paperwork that I signed says "...payable as soon as reasonably practicable after separation from employment".
  5. Committee man at Livonia told me a month ago that people can retire now and it would be backdated. I call bullshit on that one.
  6. What other plants besides Livonia are on four 10-hour days? How did Christmas break work for you? Livonia made some kind of "deal" for employees to return on 1/3 instead of 1/2, and then work that Friday, 1/5, instead. No one that I talked to in the plant was polled before this decision was made. Regardless, last Friday we were not paid for Monday, 1./1 because we didn't work 1/2. The Union was supposed to get it corrected, but it's not on there for this Friday either. Did any other plants do this??
  7. The single-payer system is in place right now at UPS (Teamsters) and Caterpillar (UAW). This likely means that soon, Ford and the rest of the Big 3 will have it. To put it simply, FMC will supply healthcare for you, and you only. You will have to purchase healthcare for your spouse and children. Thank you IUAW and Obama! This is Obamacare - if you voted for him, good luck!
