  1. From what I understand, the delay was from them slowing down the 2014 production line. I ended up getting an extra $1000 off on top of my X-Plan price. It was worth the wait for me in the end for me. I'm in love with my new car. I'm having some issues with my Sirius trial at the moment, but that's a whole different story. I'm so angry with Sirius that even after having it for the past 2 years I might cancel it entirely after the current trial.
  2. Car was delivered Monday evening and I picked her up last night. I'm in love with it already. So my final timeline is: 02/01/14 - Ordered Fusion at dealership (X-Plan Order) 02/11/14 - Order placed by the dealership (was told by Ford Customer Service that order was priority) 03/22/14 - VIN assigned 04/28/14 - Scheduled to Date 04/29/14 - Build Day 05/12/14 - Car delivered to dealer 05/13/14 - Fusion is in my possession! So total time frame was around 3.5 months. I only got to drive her for about an hour last night, but I think we're going to be very happy together
  3. Thanks Cyberdman! Hopefully this will be the last update I ask for before I can post a few pics! 3FA6P0D90ER333536 Any update? Thanks again for all of your help.
  4. That's even better, I'm pretty sure you have no obligation to buy the car. I'm not 100% how the x-plan plays into that. I know that once you purchase the car you have to keep it for 6 months before you can sell it, not that I plan on doing that!
  5. Do you have at least an order number and dealer number? If you do you can try calling Ford Customer Service: 1-800-392-3673 They were pretty helpful to me in the beginning. They gave me a VIN number 2 weeks before my dealer did. Even though my dealer said he'd keep checking and let me know as soon he got it. You never HAVE to take the car you order, but you'll most likely lose out on the $500 you spent to order it. Ford Customer Service even called my dealer directly to ask them for information, that made my dealer unhappy and they started helping me a little bit more.
  6. They said it wasn't delivered yet. But definitely sometime this week, so we will see!
  7. You can always ask. The only thing I can think of that is causing all of these delays is that they're starting the 2015 orders soon. Maybe they're slowing production down on the 2014 orders? My dealer hasn't been able to give me any answers at all. All they do is apologize and try to offer me other cars that I didn't order. It's gone so long now, I keep forgetting I'm getting a new car!
  8. I'm not sure if I can ask for an update if you've given an ETA. If not, then no worries. But if I can.... 3FA6P0D90ER333536 Thanks for all of your previous updates as well!
  9. Minx88, your VIN Is fine. If the link doesn't work, it's because your window sticker isn't available yet. If you put your VIN in here: http://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/vin-decoder/ You will see that your VIN is valid, and it will break it down for you. I think the window sticker is usually available about a week before your build day. I had my VIN for about a month before I had my window sticker.
  10. Thanks MKII! I didn't even notice that the date had changed when I checked earlier. I'm thinking about using Costco as my backup plan. The price I was offered via Costco was slightly more than my X-plan offer, but only just. I'm happy with my X-Plan offer so far, I'm just confused on how incentives work with it.
  11. Had an update today. Not through Ford directly, but from my Dad of all people. He started researching for me as I was getting fed up and he knows people. My car is in transit with an ETA of May 17th at the dealer. I can't wait to check for an update next week on the tracking forum. I already asked for one on Tuesday. Now I just have to spend some time doing some research to make sure I get the deal I should be getting when I pick it up. I'm getting this car on the X-Plan and it's my first time doing so. I don't fully understand how it works yet, so I have 2 weeks to figure it out! Hopefully the lack of information for everyone just means they're not updating the systems as regularly.
  12. I'm very curious about this as well. I ordered my Titanium AWD on Feb. 1st and it's got an ETA of June 8th. It's only in production now. I don't know if it has something to do with the 2014 orders coming to a close while the 2015 orders open up. Or maybe it's to do with the seat restraint recalls?
  13. I don't think it's the average time. It's unusual and no one can tell me why. I ordered my 2012 Focus as well. I ordered that March 4th, 2012 and it was delivered to my dealer April 5th, 2012. And that was a fully loaded Titanium as well. So when I ask Ford why and they try to tell me it's probably because I have a lot of added options...I'm not buying it. I'm pretty sure my dealers messed up somewhere along the line. So why my Fusion is taking so long is beyond me.
  14. Got an update on my order today. Currently in production. ETA of June 8th. I'm still shaking my head at this. I just can't understand why it would take 40 days from build to delivery. The most annoying thing to me is that I've had to extend my lease by 2 months, pay for registration, and pay more taxes on my current lease. If I had any indication it would have taken this long when I ordered the car Feb. 1st, I would have been more inclined to purchase a car off of the lot. I'm buying the Fusion so I feel more attached to it and I am really having a hard time waiting for it!
  15. May I please have an update? 3FA6P0D90ER333536 Thank you!
