  1. Thank you so much for sharing! Sure hope this remedies the problem
  2. I am sorry to hear that, my vehicle does that randomly, it’s not very often though. I think it’s more related to my phone but who knows. I thought I could be interference with my iPhone, other users have experienced the same thing. I don’t have any hope that they can repair it with a dealer visit, they already replaced of the camera once. I just think it’s strange that my 2020 model didn’t do that at all.
  3. Nope, just happens randomly when backing up. I notice it happens less frequently if I wait a minute after starting up to let everything boot, then backup. But its totally random. Others are having the same issue on the Facebook Lincoln Aviator Forum and I really wish there was a fix.
  4. My 2020 that was repurchased by Ford, didn't have the problem either but it seems to be common on the 2021. Replacing the camera didn't fix it.
  5. I have an issue with my 2021 Lincoln Aviator backup camera, it occasionally flickers (glitches) when in reverse. Lincoln has already replaced it once. Anyone else experience this? Video enclosed. Drives me crazy! 7387EEE5-2A58-4AE5-AF18-E91D0BA2EC7E.mov
  6. Thank you, I have the F150 4x4 too, it had a similar sound a year ago and they replaced the leaf suspension and solved that. The aviator black label has a totally different setup though with air springs and automatic dampeners. It may be characteristic of the vehicle but it sounds unusual, even though it drives just fine. I mentioned it to service and they said to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse or what not, we can address at the first service.
  7. I hear something I think is coming from the suspension but im not sure. It's a light pop noise when I turn right over uneven pavement into a driveway or onto a street with uneven pavement as I make the turn. I didn't seem to notice it before but the car otherwise drives like a dream. Anyone experience this? I have the adaptive suspension and wonder if its just normal?!?
  8. My 2017 F-150 is approaching the 3 year mark this month. Should I just replace the battery per necessity of living in the desert (Palm Springs) or will the vehicle actually warn me when the battery isn't charging enough? Everything is working fine and hate to make the investment unless I should just given the age...... Any advise appreciated.
  9. I found the answer, its just like my truck, if you hold down the last two numbers on the keypad it will lock - its just weird that the lock symbol doesn't work when pressed using the keypad. The lock symbol only seems to work with the key or the phone as key. Exactly right. Always work when key is on me or PAK on me, but if im just using the keppad, I have to press the 7-8 and 9-0 numbers to lock.

  11. On the door keypad, I don't seem to have a problem unlocking the aviator from the keypad but it won't let me relook the door using the lock button on the keypad, I have to open the door and hit lock. Does anyone know of a way to lock it without opening the door?
  12. Lol! It should, the point is to get in and out with ease! I noticed mine lowered today when I opened the hatch but as far as I can tell, it only does this when you're outside the vehicle.
  13. thats a good question, I don't know if you can. You can turn on Easy Entry/Exit but not sure if it lowers until you get out or open the trunk.
  14. I did. They have to replace a panel in the center console. It's been ordered. No big deal. I know it will be taken care of
  15. I have a panel gap in the lower console, looks like a plastic tab isn't properly attached, the other side is totally plumb. I tried to press it back together and it won't go! Maybe a broken tab. Anybody had this issue? I would of course take it back to the dealer for what I would hope to be a quick fix but with the current state of affairs, it may be awhile. Any advice is appreciated
  16. I can confirm everything works as normal. The car senses my phone in the house (phone as a key connected) and must just stop operation until I drive it somewhere else. It works great out in the open and it works the first time I approach the car when at home, but unless I go somewhere, it won't continue to do the greeting or the lowering which has to be on purpose, to conserve battery drain. I would say this is all within the design and operation intended by Lincoln. My car does lower and the lights do their dance when I first return to the car after parking it, but if I don't move the car, it won't continue to do this every time I say hello to it.
  17. Thank you! Settings are correct. Thank you for confirming the unlock to lower, I've found the same. For some reason, in my garage it doesn't do the lighted Lincoln embrace greeting, Ive only owned it a few days now and haven't noticed how this performs out in the wild versus in my garage. It may be a situation where the key fobs and my phone are too close to the vehicle, about 30 feet away or so near my home office. What a great ride! One of the best driving vehicles I've ever owned
  18. Hi all! I am the new owner of a 2020 Lincoln Aviator Black Label with the air suspension. I have a question about it though. I thought when you walk in the vicinity with the phone as a key (iPhone in my case) or the key fob, the lights would come on and greet you along with the vehicle lowering. I have the settings turned on in the menu for the car to lower itself when you walk up to it but the only way this seems to work is if I press the unlock button first. The car rarely automatically turns the lights on or lowers itself. Does this usually only work with the unlock button being pressed? Lincoln Calls this Approach Detection https://www.lincoln.com/luxury-suvs/aviator/features/design/ Mine only seems to do this when I press unlock though. Phone as a key works fine when I press the door handle to open and the lights come on.

  20. Hi! Im Rob from Palm Springs California! Recently traded my BMW's for Fords and I am very happy with the move. I decided on pretty much one of everything, probably going to add a new F150 to the list as well, but pictured is what I have at the moment and loving it. The new Mustangs are really great! -2015 Explorer Limited 4x4 -2015 Escape Platinum AWD -2014 Fusion Platinum AWD -2015 Mustang GT 50 Years Fastback -2015 Mustang GT 50 Years Convertible Just saying Hi! Look forward to learning more about it all here!
  21. Ahhh got it. Thank you so much for the info!
  22. Thank you! Im not sure what the selectshift feature is or does but I must have that on as well as mine does not stay there.
  23. Question about the display to the left of the gauge, I usually leave that display on "Fuel Economy" but when I put it in drive, that disappears and goes back to the regular rpm gauge. Is there a way to set the "fuel economy" as default? I can't find it in settings. My explorer seems to stay on fuel economy in the display. I have a 2014 new Fusion Titanium awd. Thanks for any insight!
