  1. According to you I couldn't make it through school.
  2. You're right, but I've had to tell a process coach and trades how to fix something on a few occasions.
  3. It would take missing three days to get an awol. It would be very coincidental if you happen to be sick or couldn't make it to work three times on the first or last day of the work week. Voting no on this contract because of that would be ridiculous.
  4. I already have a bachelors degree and a electrical/mechanical maintenance certificate. This contract helps open the door to someone like me getting in trades. While it helps to eliminate some of the knuckle heads we have in there currently. Why else would they offer retirement incentives to trades and not production?
  5. Not everybody that voted yes lives paycheck to paycheck. As far as gains you are getting raises and bonuses and will be the highest paid auto worker in the USA. You are as greedy as the company.
  6. If you miss more than two non scheduled Mondays or Fridays. You are an abuser. These are two after the fact occurrences. If you schedule them you could miss 26 Mondays and Fridays as long as you have enough personal and vacation time.
  7. As you guys fade away there will be one trade called electrical/mechanical.
  8. I should've said that's the only trade there is that has any value.
  9. Why would Ford buy back shares? Could it be because they know it's undervalued right now? If I was a kid I'd insert an emoji here.
  10. Nobody said it was up YTD. Ford stock is definitely undervalued right now making it a very good long buy and short for that matter since the contract passed.
  11. If the contracts so bad and you are not compensated fairly. I'm sure other companies are looking for trades. I hope you are an electrician, because outside of Ford that's about the only trade there is.
  12. After a few more contracts and the legacy members are gone, it will be a different union. A majority of the new hires realize there has to be give and takes within a deal and not just always wanting more.
  13. You probably will be one of the ones crying for a raise in your pension after you retire, because you have no clue how to invest money.
  14. After witnessing some work done by trades.....I'd like to be able to vote them out of a job. I can't count how many times I've had to tell them how to fix something.
  15. You've been here 20+ years and you say you still got 20 more. Brother its about time to hang it up and give someone else a shot.
