I am not sure that my experience is typical but for those who have ordered an Edge, or are considering it, this is the time line for my order of a 2015 Edge SEL, 3.5, AWD, Ruby Red, roof rails, and Trailer Package. Date Event and Source 8/28/2015 Car ordered 9/18 VIN received, from dealer 10/23 ETA 11/26, from Ford Customer Support 10/24 ETA 11/23, from dealer 10/28 Window sticker, from ResearchManiacs 11/6 Car built, from ETIS 11/14 ETA 11/30, from dealer 11/17 Car shipped, from Pioneer (thanks again) 11/17 ETA 12/5-12/11, from Pioneer 11/28 ETA 12/6 from dealer 12/4 Car delivered Order to delivery: 98 days. The ETA seems to be a floating target, impacted no doubt by the 11 days between build and ship dates. Ford may not have been in a rush to deliver but the car is very nice.
