I have a question for the UAW members in here. Will your ratification be online or in person. Unifor Ford will be a zoom meeting which I think sucks.

Lofty goals, I don’t think all of that will be achieved.

Well Ford better put in the work to try and resolve this situation quickly.

Paltry numbers for the Mach-E And the Lightning. Ford has a long long way to go with these electric vehicle sales. It’s quite concerning actually. If this trend continues I can see Ford changing plans YET AGAIN.

We absolutely DO NOT have profit sharing lol. Lots of people at work want Unifor to consider it. Lots of angry people at work the union wants to do the contract ratification online via zoom and not in person. I guess they don’t want the hooligans in Oakville to boo and heckle like we did in 2016. When covid hit they dodged the bullet, online ratification all peaceful and quiet. Profit sharing has been a big issue amongst the workforce many many people want it.

I hope some of that gets shared in the form of gains for the UAW and Unifor membership

I really hope Ford gets this right because whatever that was under the tarp isn’t this vehicle so I believe those who say it changed styling.

I also believe Ford has some investments carrots to dangle up their sleeve as well to be revealed at contract time.

I’ve been watching Shawn Fein speak and I believe with his aggressive stance there will be a UAW strike at atleast one if not all the companies. We workers do deserve more and I hope gains are made. I would prefer a favourable agreement that avoids going on strike. I have heard minimal from Unifor whom as you know is up for a new contract this year as well. Fein said he would even be willing to target all 3 we shall see but I believe stellantis will be the target

They have three assembly plants in Michigan . I don’t want to see anymore plants close. When I seen they started to build BOC I said to myself there will be some older plant closures in the future. I hope im wrong.

It took Ford over 2 and a half years to OFFICIALLY announce that OAC is even getting retooled without the products names. First vehicle rumored to go there was the Corsair EV then that got scrapped. Now I’m seeing that name on this list again of future ford EV products. I question the accuracy of this report a bit and agree with the points that you made. It seems as though the plan is being tweaked so who knows. How well would a hybrid mustang be received??? I think that’s quite interesting. Like I said in my previous posts I believe ford has some investment announcements in their pocket for the UAW as bargaining chips.
