  1. I believe he means there are too many two row crossovers and there aren’t alot of three row Bev crossovers so they chose that route. If that makes any sense
  2. It’s a damn terrible move but according to Farley it’s a commodity product.
  3. Maybe it’s a part issue? The Ranger is still a desirable product.
  4. I’m furious that ford ditched our edge and nautilus l, I felt they could’ve made them hybrids and continued on in new form not China import Lincoln. I’m also hopeful that these mystery 7 seaters do well. What I want to know is what’s taking Ford so long to take the tarp off and show us what they look like. They were announced 5 years ago!
  5. I couldn’t agree with you more. I just hope this situation plays out successfully. We are building 750-800 units a day. 15-16 hours production if DPR is achieved. We had a layoff week then Christmas holidays back for four days then 2 week layoff in January. No idea if we will have more downtime before retool starts.
  6. I hope you have many years of trouble free driving with the 2023 Nautilus. It’s a great product even though the 2024 does look sharp. Good to hear you’re enjoying it!
  7. Before Ford Talbotville closed lots of police forces across America and Canada stockpiled Crown Vic’s. Maybe they had the biggest order but up here I remember Toronto Police ordering 300 of them near the end.
  8. You’re welcome and that’s great shows you really thought they are a great product which they are. The new Nautilus is awesome looking and Hybrid so it’s bittersweet that we won’t be making them. Ford should’ve had these vehicles as hybrids along time ago. Proud and sad to see them gone.
  9. You’re welcome and wow that’s awesome 4 Edges that’s really great. Sad to see that these vehicles are going but I suppose they’re Dinosaurs now in this transitionary time we are living in.
  10. You’re welcome I’m sad to see the Nautilus go and I wish they kept the Nautilus here. I can only hope the BEV vehicles we get are as good as the Edge/Nautilus have been. Edge done April 2024.
  11. After building 578,383 MKX/NAUTILUS production ended at OAC Wednesday, December 6th. It was a great run and I hope you guys get your Chinese Nautilus shipped in a timely manner.
  12. The strike at Kentucky Truck Plant had to have an effect on the sales figures one would assume. They were down for at least 2 weeks I believe.
  13. I see Bronco and Explorer sales down due to uaw strike and other factors with Explorer.
  14. Good too see Lightning sales increasing. Just a bit of info, Lincoln Nautilus production at OAC ends this week the last units are going through body shop as we speak. They should be done in final assembly by Wednesday or Thursday.
  15. OAC will not be online for BEV production til sometime in 2025. Original time frame was December 2024 to start early production. I don’t believe Ford and I believe we won’t start building prototypes til 2025. BOC not online til 2025 so I agree they will not be hitting 600000 of anything in 2024 in terms of EVs!
  16. Absolutely not gonna happen. Projections have been lowered.
  17. Honestly I just hope the public likes them, I know that our launch at OAC will be a long low volume situation.
  18. You’re correct, I know nothing about how these vehicles look other than what is being said in this forum.
  19. So why on earth is Ford forcing out products that may bomb?? I don’t get it!
  20. As long as their moving and I agree with what you’re saying
  21. Yup I totally misread that! It’s not 200000 to start it’s 100000 lol!
  22. Ok so I need to correct my information here. The plant will have the CAPACITY to build 200000 units but they expect to build 100000 a year when we start. That info could change now that they’re scaling back so until Ford really sheds light on the situation that’s all I know.
  23. I seen the projection on automotive news Canada concerning Oakville. As for Mach E the projection also increased to 200000 plus units but that’s not happening right now. We all know that the OAC future products have been bounced around several facilities prior to landing at OAC. Cuatitlan Assembly was supposed to build Mach E along side these two GE2 7 seaters as we’ve discussed in this group many times.
