  1. I talked a lot of s*** when the last set of photos leaked, specifically regarding the light bar but... this actually is a decent improvement I think. There's even a little bit of Mach E in the front end (squint if you need).
  2. Have they become garage babies? Now that you mention it, I haven't seen many on the road (obviously still considering it it's age but...)
  3. Psh finding one in decent shape isn't the issue, you just have to be ready to pay for it.
  4. Yeah they've definitely have grown on me haha. I appreciate the design much more than I did before, not just as an owner but from a eye on design perspective. I think their respect will continue to grow, much like the Fox Body. And I still see new edge stangs on the road often which is nice.
  5. Thanks. This gave me a different feeling for the car, a greater appreciation. Nice work Lincoln
  6. This concept, or design study looks cool... It's nice to see Lincoln explore it's future. I hope there's a physical model. Renderings can only go so far.
  7. Yeah if I were in the market, I'd go for the 2.3 but every review I'd read of the Corsair has said the 2.3 wasn't really worth the upgrade over the 2.0. Not a big enough difference in driving experience apparently.
  8. I too am surprised at the pricing. It made me go over and build my own TRX on the site for comparison sake. I get it in at a little over $100k how I'd want it. MAYBE the Raptor R will be fully loaded with no options. Still... ouch.
  9. I just wish it was stainless steel... No reason why this car should be painted lol fr. But nice design work! I learned some things about "modern reinterpretation."
  10. It looks like it went back a generation back instead of a update honestly...
  11. This Blazer SS EV? Looking forward to seeing this!
  12. Yeah you have a point.. I can agree with that. Also, their EV was more performance than eco. I can definitely see designing more concepts in general helping motivate and excite design teams, and getting the public interests: whatever that looks like.
  13. I think shooting way out there pushes design and engineering. If you're designing thinking only what's feasible today then it's going to be slow walk up innovation alley... Which we've arguably seen already in the industry. I know some like to throw salt on Tesla for a dozen and one reasons but we would not be talking about or producing electric cars the way we are now if it wasn't for Tesla being innovative and pushing the needle. I'm mostly disappointed in concepts when a following production model isn't satisfying. And not because it's not feasible, but because the company doesn't give them what they need to make it feasible. Speaking generally...
  14. No paywall https://fordauthority.com/2022/04/ford-design-chief-wants-to-roll-out-more-concept-cars-going-forward/ Also, a lightweight fan of Anthony Lo! Excited for what he's bringing to the company.
  15. I love that color too! Congrats man. Can I come over for a ride? Hah. Nice shirt too!
  16. Ah okay that makes sense. Thanks for that. I've always been a fan of the Edge. And thought it always had potential to actually, push the edge for Ford. Pun Intended. Do what the name entails. I remember the first gen Edge tag-line, something like "Ford lives on the Edge" or something, with the Edge driving on top of buildings... That was fun...
  17. I've been seeing those reports about the Edge but I don't think that it's true. I'm am design student here in Detroit and a few of my instructors currently work in the industry full time. I am in class now and he confirmed that he's currently assisting on the next gen Edge. I explicitly asked about the cancelation reports and he said "No, I'm filled up with Edge parts." I leave his exact answer out but I did I ask him was it ICE or BEV, he talked about why it made sense for Ford "separated" the EV work, what it means for engineers & designers, and how Ford it committing to still producing ICE models for the time being. I asked him about timeframe, and he said in general, at this stage, it's likely about a year and a half from being on the road. So unless he's mistaken, the Edge isn't dead.
