I’d like to see that maverick suv too. Assuming it stayed the same length as the maverick, there would be plenty of room for a 3rd row which would make it unique in the compact suv segment. 1. seating for 6-7 people with ample legroom in the 3rd row 2. class leading storage/cargo space, especially with the seats folded down 3. affordable price tag 4. Easier to park than larger full-size vehicles i think a lot of people would be interested in something like that

The Kia ev9 has second row seats called “lounge seats” that recline pretty far back with a foot rest that comes out.

2025 Ford Maverick ST potentially spotted

This is by far the best looking front end I’ve seen on the maverick. -

FordPass 5.0 Update Features Substantial Changes
T-dubz replied to ice-capades's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
Yep, that’s what we do to. The problem is that the main time my wife can’t remember if she locked the car is right before we go to bed around 11:30. When I lock the car with the app, it honks the horn, and I’d rather not do that when it’s that late so I don’t bother my neighbors. -
FordPass 5.0 Update Features Substantial Changes
T-dubz replied to ice-capades's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
An indicator showing if the vehicle is locked or not would be a nice feature. Also, the app for my garage door opener has the option to send notifications to your phone if you leave the garage door open for a set amount of time or after a specific time. It would be a cool if the FordPass app could do that with the locks on your car. -
2025 Ford Maverick ST potentially spotted
T-dubz replied to silvrsvt's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
Minus the wheels and the weird area below the headlights, I really like this refresh. I never cared for the current grille so I’m glad to see a change there. I think a honeycomb style would have been better, but I don’t mind the waterfall. There is too much black plastic on the current version, especially on the upper trims (XL it would be ok on), so seeing body color is nice. I don’t get the wheels at all, they don’t seem to fit with the vehicle. With the interior enhancements we have seen in spy pics, I think this 2025 maverick is going to be a big winner. Most of my complaints I have had seem to have been fixed. -
What's your favorite modern Ford color?
T-dubz replied to DeluxeStang's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
I’m not a huge fan of bright colors. My last few vehicles have been carbonized gray, silver or white. Area 51 looks good on a cloudy day, but I like it a bit less when it’s sunny. I like eruption green and shelter green, but may favorite color is lead foot gray. I remember seeing this pic a while back and thought this was the perfect looking bronco. -
What a funny review. So essentially the Colorado is the best vehicle all around but the Ranger is the best work vehicle and therefore the winner. Also seems odd to base part of your review on features you didn’t even test (towing), or features that not many people use (lane centering). The only real informative info that I got out of that review was that the ranger had a larger backseat area, which I was unaware of, and would be a huge plus for families.

This pic makes me wonder how you even get in the back seat. That looks like the smallest door I’ve ever seen.

It’s been revealed https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/2025-4runner-photos-specs-🔥-trailhunter-trd-pro-off-road-platinum-trims.1283/ It’s ok. I like the profile. The rear side window reminds me of the early 4 runners. Front looks good on the trd pro, but looks bloated on the blue one.

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Spied
T-dubz replied to joseodiaga4's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
I can’t spot any differences. guessing the “grille” area might look a bit different since it’s the only thing covered. Not sure why the rest of the camo was needed. -
I like it, but only in the ST trim. Looks like it’s about escape sized. The envision pictured is an ST and the article says it starts at $37795 (doesn’t mention if destination is included). I’m assuming a platinum escape would be similar in options and its $37,465 before destination. Corsair starts at $38,890.

I own a bronco and I would definitely cross shop a 4Runner. They are just different niches in the off-road vehicle market. The removable roof was not a factor in the purchase of my bronco, I just like the looks. I like what I see so far on the 4Runner. Hope the front is more Land Cruiser than Tacoma, but I don’t think that will be the case.

Over 40,000 Customers Reportedly Cancel Their Fisker Ocean Reservations
T-dubz replied to ice-capades's topic in E.V. Central
But look at its competition. The model Y and VW ID4 aren’t exactly lookers. After the mach e and Kia ev9, this is probably the best looking suv ev in the price range, and it offers features more comparable to the much more expensive rivians. -
Over 40,000 Customers Reportedly Cancel Their Fisker Ocean Reservations

I’ve always thought the ocean was one of the most compelling ev options out there. It looks good and has nice features for a reasonable price. -
Ford Q1/March 2024 Sales Results
T-dubz replied to rmc523's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
Edge sales are crazy. It’s selling almost as much as the escape and it’s a 100 year old design. Rebates are surprisingly low at only $1500 too. Wonder what sales would be like if ford refreshed the sheet metal? Interior just needs an update to ford’s current switchgear and steering wheel along with a new seat and dash design. I was wondering where all of the sales were happening at because I haven’t seen any edges on dealer lots around me and haven’t noticed any new ones on the road, but I’d guess it’s a big seller up north where awd is more important. standard awd, huge touchscreen, good amount of tech, and a moderately low price make it a pretty compelling option. -
REPORT: $25K Ford EV Will Be Built at Louisville Assembly
T-dubz replied to ice-capades's topic in E.V. Central
https://fordauthority.com/2024/03/ford-ev-features-escape-footprint-and-explorer-sized-cabin/ this article says it could be the size of an escape but have interior size close to explorer. My explorer is pretty spacious inside, so that would be nice to have in a smaller package. -
You are comparing it to the wrong truck. You should really be asking what does the ranger provide that the maverick doesn’t? The interiors are very similar in size. I think the maverick even has more rear leg room than the ranger. Ranger can obviously tow more and has a bigger bed, but is that worth an extra 10k to most buyers?

2025 Ford Expedition Interior Spotted
T-dubz replied to joseodiaga4's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
I think it makes sense to have a split tailgate on large SUVs like the expedition. By splitting the tailgate in half, you now need less space to open the rear. Comes in handy if you are parallel parked, or reverse parked near a wall. Also, I’d imagine the top tailgate wouldn’t stick up as high so it would be easier to open in low garages. The downside like rmc523 said, is that it makes it harder to reach things in the back. -
2025 Ford Expedition Interior Spotted
T-dubz replied to joseodiaga4's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
I like it. I’m curious what will be below what we see in the picture and how the rest of the center console will look like. Comparing to the new explorer, it appears all the buttons the explorer has are present within the dash of the expedition. With the rotary shifter now in the dash, there’s a whole lot of space they need to fill. I guess they will have the drive mode selector down there and some wireless chargers maybe. -
Ford May Postpone New EV Launches Amid Strategy Reboot
T-dubz replied to ice-capades's topic in E.V. Central
I don’t know, I could see 2027, it’s not that far away. This picture I believe came from a car scoops article on 2/2/23. That’s over a year ago and we haven’t seen or heard much else about this. If this is supposed to come out in 2025, I would think we would have seen at least some camo covered spy pics by now. Now, I haven’t seen an article specify if this thing is supposed to come out in calendar year 2025 or MY2025, but other MY2025 vehicles have had their spy pics out for months now. Here’s my theory about BORGs comments. Maybe it was originally supposed to come out in the later half of 2025 as a 2026 model. Maybe BORGs source said it was delayed to 2027, but he actually meant MY2027. If that’s the case, the vehicle is only actually being delayed one year.
