  1. Seems like having your EVs use the same motors would be common sense. Wonder why ford didn’t do this in the first place? Did thet rush the Mach E out and not have time to finish development on the lightning motor so they had to go with an outside supplier?
  2. The one thing that sucks about midsize or compact trucks is the rear legroom. What if ford decided to give the ranger a bigger cab and a shorter bed? The bigger cab would set it apart from both the maverick and other midsizers. Four adults could sit comfortably with an extra 6 inches or a foot in the cab. I know a lot of you guys here like long beds, but beds have been getting shorter and shorter for years. The maverick shows us that customers are ok with a 4 ft bed. And they could always offer a 5-5.5ft bed as the longbed option if they wanted. The first thing I always notice when getting into an f150 is all the space it has inside. What if people thought the same way about the ranger?
  3. Ranger numbers not looking too good. Are there still supply issues with it? I think my local dealer has several on the lot.
  4. Here are some quick AI generated Lincoln broncos I did for a similar post on 6g. I’d love to see it, but don’t think it would happen.
  5. There’s also a thing called the radio that already plays ads too. How many ads can one person handle in a car?
  6. I think the only thing that I would be remotely ok with would be if they replaced the vehicles start up animation with a short 5-10 sec commercial, but even with that, I’d want a good amount off of the purchase price.

  9. I’d be interested in seeing the bronco sports sales by trim. I see bronco sports all the time, several a day. What do they all have in common? They are all big bends. I’ve seen exactly one outer banks and no badlands. Will a fwd bronco sport dilute it? Hell no 😆. No one is using this for an off road adventure vehicle. It’s just a daily driver that looks cool. There’s also a precedent. The Bronco II didn’t come standard with 4wd for a good portion of its life.
  10. That is a nice color interior. How do you like the new infotainment system?
  11. I’ve been a fan of Toyotas crown sport concept. I’d like to see something like it
  12. They could probably go even smaller and yet keep the same interior dimensions by pushing the wheels to the corners. I’m all for giving the escape some more style. With the Maverick Lobo coming out, could we also be seeing a resurgence of the sport truck/suv? If so, a new sporty escape would be perfect for that. You can’t do that kind of vehicle with the bronco sport.
  13. Am I the only one who thought it had been released for years? I can’t believe it’s not even on sale yet. The original concept came out in 2017. It’s already time for a redesign!😆
  14. changing up the c pillar and the rear end completely changed the athletic look of the Escalade IQ. The IQL almost looks like a wagon in comparison.
  15. I’m actually back to thinking this isn’t camo. You can clearly see the expedition lettering is outlined in yellow, exactly what you’d expect on the tremor. And you can see the ford badging. If this was a giant black sticker covering the rear, I doubt they would have put the lettering or the logo on top of that. My guess is that this is in fact the final version, or that particular part is an unpainted prototype of some sort. i have no explanation for the lights. At first I thought it might be something like on the explorer, but it looks nothing like that.
  16. Interesting. I’m not sure the bronco sport is ready to cover the entire compact suv market by itself (yes I know there’s talk of the small suv ev but who know when that will happen). The current bronco sports biggest problems were its lack of tech and its size. The tech has been fixed with the 2025 refresh, but it’s still too small of a vehicle for families. The escape was 10” longer and had much better rear legroom with its sliding rear seat. I think the bronco sport needs to grow, at least to the size of the current escape, to be more attractive to families. Adding a fwd versions would also make it appeal to a wider audience. I’ve been an escape fan for years, minus this last gen. I hate to see it go. I think with a good redesign, there’s still a place for it in ford’s lineup.
  17. Or bring the screen forward where the IP normally is. There’s no need for it to be that far back if you aren’t having a full width screen. Another option would be to center the 24” screen, then add a 3rd tiny screen like the Mach E has right above the steering wheel.
  18. From what I’ve read, it sounds like he’s been a part of ford’s designs for quite a while now. Not sure if that’s good or bad. I wouldn’t mind seeing some new ideas design wise though.
  19. Surely the black is just some leftover camo that hasn’t been removed right? Thats horrible if not. I also really like the interior, except for that screen. It needs the navigator screen, just looks unfinished without it.
  20. When I see that, the first thing I think of is this. it might be ok on a black expy, but it looks like it got in a wreck and you picked up a different color bumper from the junkyard.
  21. I agree with the bronco prices being part of the problem. The cheapest bronco you can get now is a 2 dr big bend for 40k. Even with the new standard equipment for 2024, $35-37k seems like a much more reasonable price. A similar price cut across the board could help sales. I like both. Timberline gave some good styling updates with some light off-road ability. Tremor focused on better off road upgrades with less styling changes. If they get rid of timberline, it would be nice to see the SUVs still get some dramatic styling changes as well as the off road upgrades.
  22. build and price is up https://shop.ford.com/configure/broncosport/2025/model/customize/bigbend?intcmp=reveal-seconNav-fbc big bend starts at $29,995 badlands at 39,995 sas is $2990 on badlands and $3535 on outerbanks big bend gets black diamond package for $2570 Here’s some more good info and videos https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/official-2025-bronco-sport-gets-sasquatch-off-road-package-new-tech-and-features.11963/ Looks like there’s some new standard equipment too wireless charging 12.3” digital dash 13.2” touchscreen wireless android auto and carplay copilot 360 assist+ usb-c outlets on the dash Including this video as it gives you a good look at the big bend, which seems to be the most popular model, at least in my area.
  23. https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco-sport/2025/#ma-bs-01-03 Really like the Sas package but looking at the above link, the badlands looks almost identical. I’d probably opt to save a few thousand and skip SAS and just get a badlands. Looks like all trims have the same grille now, just in different colors (pics aren’t the greatest so could be wrong on that). Free wheelin package sticking around is hilarious. Guess ford ordered too many stickers and red wheels last year and needed to get rid of them still. I would have liked to see a bit more change to the exterior on the other trims. Most of the wheels look new, but are so similar to the old ones that you wonder what the point of changing them was. I guess most of the refresh money went to the interior, where it was needed most. The interior does looks much better now and finally gets sync 4, which it should have debuted with in the first place.
  24. I’m not too sure about that Chinese edge. That uptick in the sheet metal on the rear pillar looks a bit strange to me. It would look much better if it was flat. it looks better in a sportier trim without the chrome, but would still benefit from that one design change. This also looks pretty close to the explorer in size that I would be worried about it cannibalizing explorer sales. Where the Chinese edge shines is its interior. It looks much more upscale than most ford interiors. It’s a tough call on which, if any, ford should bring to NA. I think the Everest could cover more price points (XL to Raptor) and it already shares most of its parts with the ranger and bronco so costs shouldn’t be too high. It also gives you the off-road segment that the Edge cannot. However, edge is more luxurious, has FWD, more tech, and has a bit more space which might make it more appealing to families.
  25. That looks like the Canoo truck. I’m not a fan of these can forward designs. Even the GM electric trucks seem to have a slightly forward cab which doesn’t look good. I think the rivian nailed the proportions perfectly. The Nikola badger has pretty good proportions too.
