What I found interesting in this article was that Jeep considers the ZR2 as a direct competitor to the gladiator. If they price it as a direct competitor to the zr2, I have to wonder how well this will sell to those who aren’t hardcore Jeep fans. Also the bed looks too long compared to the rest of the body. If they cut half a foot off, I think it would look better.

I’m interested in the mpg that this will get. It has the new sky active x engine which functions like a diesel but uses gas.

It is a bit strange looking, but at the same time it makes it stance look wider and more aggressive.

The front end was a bit strange to me at first but it has really grown on me. I actually like both this and the truck.

https://www.autoblog.com/2018/11/27/2019-honda-passport-suv-revealed-la-show/ the passport and rodeo were some of my favorite suvs when I was younger. Glad to see this come back. It definitely looks better then the other suvs in Honda’s lineup. It’s an edge competitor so right in the middle of the crv and pilot.

For some reason I’m getting a freestyle vibe from this. The front needs a lot of work. It just looks unfinished.

Meet the 2020 Maverick (Baby Bronco)!
T-dubz replied to LSchicago's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
I think it looks pretty good. If the backseat has 1-2” more legroom then the escape then this could go on my list. do y’all think the proportions of the bronco in the back are to scale? It seems like it about half a foot to a foot taller then the maverick -
Why not make these sounds customizable? I think it’d be cool to have the “THX” sound play when starting your car. I wish ford would create an “App Store” of sorts so owners could really customize their cars. Downloadable chimes so you aren’t stuck with the stock sounds, maybe even make your own. And with all the digital screens in cars now, why not let me download different “skins” for the gauge cluster? Imagine changing the Gauge cluster to look like a speedo from the 70’s, maybe the old svt gauges, or something futuristic? Everyone already customized their cell, so this seems like a logical step and might even draw in some new customers.

The Drive posts a scathing review of the 2019 Silverado

Besides the cheap materials, I feel like the design around the touchscreen actually makes the screen look smaller. -

It looks good from that angle, but the profile seems a bit weird. Speaking of the probe, I read somewhere that the next gen probe actually turned into the cougar to get younger buyers to mercury. I remember liking the probe gt in high school and the new cougar. Heres the mc2 concept for that cougar. This 1963 cougar II concept was pretty cool too -

Ranger starts production
T-dubz replied to Sherminator98's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
And I assume that is model year 2023 which would put it out in 2022. I always planned to skip the first model year ranger so all the kinks can get worked out, so waiting two more years for a vehicle that I will keep for probably 10 yrs doesnt seem so long. -
Ranger starts production

Im pretty interested in it too, the only thing holding me back is that the all new model is coming out in 2023. I wonder if the styling of that one would be an evolution like the new explorer or something different. Also with the bronco, baby bronco, and escape all coming out soon, its kinda hard to commit to the ranger without at least seeing the others first. -
When we did all the data analytics, it became really clear, a loyal owner is so much easier for us to do business with than trying to get a customer from someone else," Farley said. "It was a big 'aha' moment for us." I cant believe he said this. Investors must be super excited. Lets forget about all the potential customers that we could get and growing market share and focus only the ones that are already loyal because its easier. The only good thing about that article is the pic of the ranger. It looks pretty good in that blue color.

2020 Mustang Shelby gt500

The bolt is a good car with good range, but its boring to look at and its a chevy. Its not the status symbol that a Tesla is, and it doesnt sell anywhere close to Tesla. Ford better get this right or the Mach 1 will be the Microsoft zune compared to Tesla as the iPod. It sounds like they are going the opposite path of the bolt which is A good thing -
Its not just the fusion, look at the new edge and only the titanium and st have an option for it, being part of a $4k package. Id imagine its not a popular option or its expensive and ford thinks buyers wont shell out the money for it on lower level trims. I think thats a good call. Ive had my fusion since 2013 and not once have I had to parallel park.
