  1. I'm hoping its just the typical Sunday Cotus shenanigans, but my car had an EDD of today (7/29) and now Cotus is showing no EDD. When I checked with Ford Performance Chat on Friday the last update was on 7/25, showing it was on a truck in the state and EDD was between 7/25 and 7/29. Swung by the dealer this evening as I was in the area, but they were already closed. Took a quick drive through the lot and didn't see the car, so hoping it really does show tomorrow. Why does ordering a car have to be so nerve racking. Read the stories about Bullitts being damaged in transportation and such, so just stressing myself out I guess. Hopefully all worth it in the end.
  2. I know Cotus isn't always accurate, but man can the data be confusing. After sitting in Awaiting Shipment for almost three weeks, it finally flipped to In Transit yesterday with an 8/4 EDD. Today it updated to 8/3 and when I went to look I noticed the Awaiting Shipment showed completed on 6/28. So either my car weeks ago and is arriving any day, or the completion date is wrong and it really is arriving in two weeks. As a data analyst, the bad data integrity is killing me. Anyways, thanks again to the Ford employees for putting up with our pestering.
  3. Was thinking now that the workers were back at the factory this week we'd get some updates. But despite cotus saying 4 days until delivery, it's still showing Awaiting Shipment as it has for the past 18 days. Hoping it magically arrives, but the dealers Bullitt built the same day moved to an 8/4 EDD so looks like I'll be disappointed. Whoever mentioned factory pickup should be an option was correct, would save so much aggravation.
  4. Sadly mine never moved to In Transit. Though I had to laugh as a EcoBoost made the same day arrived at the dealer today, while a Bullit also made the same day is still sitting at Ford with mine. They have another Mustang in production now so maybe those three will get trucked together, wishful thinking.
  5. So my car finished production on 6/26, and has been sitting there (like many others) ever since due to the 2 week closure. My EDD is still showing next Friday (7/19), but I have to think that's not realistic. I spoke to a Ford rep today who confirmed the EDD was still 7/19, and when I mentioned I was expecting that to change, he mentioned that they would be surprised if it still made it. I know that they have limited info, and obviously aren't always correct, but what are the chances it gets from the factory to Massachusetts in 8 days? I find it highly unlikely if it goes by rail, so what are the chances it is driven directly out by truck? I'm not too stressed, as long as it shows before 8/11 when I leave for vacation I'm okay.
  6. The journey isn't over, but getting closer. Have the window sticker, showing a blend date of 6/26 and its in COTUS. Knock on wood, now I just need the car to arrive with no issues and the dealer to keep to our agreement.
  7. Oh and thanks for checking Fuzzy, this time and previously. Also need to get ahold of the DORA to ease my fears they left out any features from the order.
  8. I'm in New England. It's a 2019 GT Fastback with 6 speed in Magnetic. PP1, Magneride, Active Exhaust, 301A, Enhanced Security, and the Navigation package. I believe the order went in the first week of April when my 2018 build was cancelled. My luck it will arrive when I'm in Disney World in August.
  9. So checked with dealer for the kicks of it today, and they are sayin 7/23 build date with VIN 1FA6P8CF2K5111391. I dont know if it's more bs, only hoping it's true at this point.
  10. Here's hoping my 2019 (and everyone else's) get scheduled tomorrow. My latest mind blower was tweeting at Ford to see if they could help on why the wait when it was them who cancelled my 2018. They asked me to DM the details, so I did, fully outlining the history and the fact that the 2019 wasn't scheduled and that was what I wanted to talk about. Their response was to simply ask for the VIN, which I obviously don't have. So they told me to talk to the dealer about scheduling, and they'd be glad to tell me the schedule once I have a VIN. All things I could easily do through various other channels. I mean I know I'm no one special, but from a PR and customer satisfaction perspective you think they'd at least look into the situation based on my series of unfortunate events with the dealership. Honestly this whole dealer middleman process has outlived its usefulness in today's day and age imo. While forums such as this and other mustang sites are obviously the vocal minority, the sheer amount of stories about lack of communication or visibility for ordered cars blow my mind. Anyways, enough of me being grumpy because I'll likely not get to enjoy the summer with my new toy. Best of luck to everyone and thanks to those on the site that take time out of their day to help us out.
  11. Hoping this gets scheduled today, but based on my recent luck I'm not betting on it. After the mess with the dealer it will be interesting to see if it does get scheduled, do they actually call me to update me. Best of luck to everyone else waiting on scheduling.
  12. Actually stopped at the dealership this evening on the way home and the sales manager outright tried to say everything I knew as a fact was wrong. I tried staying calm (spent years in retail management on the other side of the argument), but still ended up beyond frustrated so I took my deposit back. They ended up calling me back on the way home and telling me that oh they were wrong on both accounts and that the car was still ordered if I wanted it when it came in and that the GM had agreed to covering the rebate and apparently never told the SM (the disagreement was over the dealership covering the rebate because the 2019 wouldn't have it or not near as high). I've seen what Koons sells the same car for with their WoW pricing so I know even covering the rebate the dealership would still make a minor profit. And I'm willing to bet that Ford agreed to pick up some of the costs since they cancelled the 2018 order. Long story short the order is supposed to be scheduled this week so we'll see. Tempted to go to another dealer just out of principal, but I don't want to have to negotiate again and I know everyone has their bad days so we'll chalk the disagreement up to that. I will say that my experience with all of the dealerships in state and out of state I've dealt with have not been great. Might just be my luck, but I've seemed to get the new sales person at every single location. And the time I have spoke to experienced sales people, I know more about the car and process than they do. I know the Mustang isn't high volume, but I'd like to think if your job is to sell something you know the basics of the vehicle and process. Thanks for the help.
  13. Hello, Hoping one of the resident experts can take a look at my order for me. I had a 2018 order that the dealership screwed up and has since reordered (prior to scheduling starting) as a 2019. As far as I can tell the order still hasn't been scheduled despite others having theirs, and today I found out both the sales person and manager I was dealing with are apparently no longer at the dealership. On top of that I'm having difficulties getting them to hold to the agreement the team I was previously working with agreed to due to the screw up on their part. I'm going to head over there tomorrow after work, but could someone please check to see if this has been scheduled. The Ford chat line said they have no ETA, but mentioned they can't see if its been scheduled. Order # M001 Dealer # F11215 2019 Mustang GT (Magnetic, 6 Speed, PP1, Magneride, 301a, Enhanced Security, and Navigation Package) This was supposed to be an easy order of me walking in knowing exactly what I wanted and an agreed upon price, but its turned into an absolute cluster..... Thanks in advance.
  14. Appreciate you taking a look at it, I feel a little better knowing that at least the order exists. I'll just keep an eye on COTUS, but for reference it should be a Magnetic Mustang GT (6 Speed) with PP1, 301A, Magneride, Active Exhaust, Enhanced Security, and Voice Active Navigation. Thanks again and may fortune find you for the help.
  15. Fuzzymoomoo, Any chance you could take a look at my order in the system. I had a MY18 Mustang GT on order (and currently being built), but the dealership messed up some features. They've supposedly put in an order for a MY19 Mustang GT with the correct features, but when I look in COTUS it brings up an F150 that was delivered last year. I've been trying not to hound the dealership because I convinced them to keep the same price including the rebate value, despite there being no rebates on the MY19. But I'd like to confirm the order is at least actually in the system. Order # M001 Dealer # F11215 Would highly appreciate any help, and thanks in advance.
