Dealer said Ford confirmed headlights are HID with LED signature lights. He also showed me presumably an updated order guide with the same information. If that is just for Canada I am not sure but I highly doubt that these features differ between US and Canadian versions. It is a little disappointing considering some mainstream vehicles in this category like Chev Equinox, Toyota RAV4, Honda CRV, GMC Terrain all offer LED headlights as an option.

Thank you all for the wealth of information here. I am considering a 2019 MKC. The Lincoln website and the order guides here say the headlamps are LED. However, the window stickers of all 2019s available at 2 local dealerships says they all have HID headlamps with LED signature lighting. And the ones I saw in person didn't seem to have LEDs and looked same as 2018 HIDs. Any thoughts on which one is correct? Or are the LED to be added later in the model year?
