  1. When we saw the new Nautilus launch I knew that there was no way they were keeping it at the same price point. That said the standard model does come pretty well equipped; the only model that seems to be reaching is the Black Label. A fully loaded Reserve isn’t much more than the 2024. I love my Black Label but I don’t know if I’d do that again or go with the Reserve with the Jet Appearance Package. I’d be curious to see sales of the Aviator, trim by trim. I would think they did some research before raising prices this much.
  2. For whatever reason, I don’t know if it’s a glitch, but in my Aviator if I find it too bright I lower the dimmer and it makes the screen darker—then I raise the dimmer back up so the rest of the cabin lighting is bright and the screen remains darker. Maybe that’s your fix if you haven’t tried that?
  3. I was all excited when they announced the partnership with Rivian—and then that got deep-sixed, then they announced the EV Aviator, but that seems to keep getting pushed back. We had the Star Concept, which I loved when I saw in person, obviously too over the top but I could see it being toned down for production and it could be a sharp vehicle. But instead we are on the 5th model year of the Aviator with no changes, the Chinese market receives a better version of the Corsair…the new Nautilus looks promising at least, and I do love the Navigator. Aside from that there’s no news of anything.
  4. I think their current batch of vehicles are pretty competitive, I love my Aviator(#3), and I’ll probably get another one, but was hoping for some information on an electric replacement for it. Their problem though is that they don’t continually update their vehicles and in this market you have to make updates and they just don’t seem to do that— especially as they can’t just sell based on their laurels like BMW, Mercedes and the like.
  5. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a46105098/2025-cadillac-vistiq-revealed/ I know I know, Ford/Lincoln wants to ensure that they aren’t putting out a half baked product but after all of this time it would be nice to hear something of what’s coming.
  6. It’s embarrassing to say the least. Don’t get me wrong I love my Aviator but when your $80k car has issues that should be an easy fix it does become a bit aggravating. And I’m honestly doubting the fix they have for it will resolve it. To me it seems it’s something with the wiring, like something is shorting out and causing the distortion.
  7. Heads should be rolling over the Aviator/Explorer camera issues. All three of mine have had issues—no blue screen of death but not uncommon for the screen to get all jumbled while reversing. I’m assuming the Aviator sales are only those without the 360 camera.
  8. The Navigator can top out near $130K so I don’t think a $150K halo car seems that far out of reach. I am definitely not the target Lincoln demographic but I just love these cars(I had a Continental BL, and am on my third Aviator BL) and want to see them succeed. They can do it when they put their minds to it but what seems to happen more often than not is they just let the products rot on the vine. I will say they’ve gotten better in the last 5 years but there’s still room for improvement.
  9. I was contemplating their first BEV to replace my Aviator but it’s a little frustrating to see little to no news, on the other hand I’m not a fan of when Ford shows a product two years before it’ll be available. Hopefully when they do show it it’s something truly remarkable. H/K seems to be churning out a new car every other week meanwhile Ford/Lincoln just seem to be complacent.
  10. I thought the Explorer and Aviator still had a stop-sale. That’s the only thing I can think of why the sales would be so low; also I wonder when the factory who’ll shutdown for the refreshed model…
  11. As for the rear I’m fine if they leave that alone as it looks good, but a light bar like the new Nautilis’ would look good. I just hope they address the camera issues. I’m on my third Aviator and they’ve all had camera issues.
  12. I’d be curious to know how many of the base models will even be sold, though I agree.
  13. Where are the turn signals? I like how on my Aviator they are separate from the headlights. I’m sure the reserve and black label will have the full width light bar—thought they would have done more with the rear but I think it’s aging gracefully. What really needs work is the interior—more so the tech aspect of it and I’m sure that will be addressed.
  14. Well with three supposed electrics by 2025 and being halfway through 2023 it just seems odd to not even see an article about test mules or anything of the like. But we shall see.
  15. Still patiently waiting to hear anything about Lincoln’s first electric—would love one to replace my Aviator around 2025 but all we ever hear about is Ford; doesn’t give me a lot of hope.
  16. My question is…when are we going to see the first all electric Lincoln? I thought they said 3 by 2025 and we are almost to the halfway point of 2023.
  17. Curious how this will turn out, not sure if this will look too busy or not. I could potentially see upgrading if they are to offer an all electric version—on my third Aviator(first was a lemon) and just love it.
  18. It’s a pie in the sky concept for sure, but the overall shape and proportions seem doable. I’m curious when the first model will come out; assuming I like the styling I’ll probably be looking to one of the models to replace my Aviator. I prefer production concepts but it’s nice every now and then to see an actual concept.
  19. Well maybe they will still have ICE powered vehicles as well during this time; the article I read didn’t say they would be exclusively electric by 2026.
  20. Do you think that means something? I just took it as there will be a reveal…
  21. I doubt they’ll ever do a sedan again, but I always loved the MKR.
  22. You had to blur me out like that, rude. ??
  23. Didn’t know if they would actually reply, glad to see it’s still at least being shown this year.
  24. If that is the case, that the Lincoln BEV they were to show next year was the Aviator, why not make an announcement clarifying this like they did when they pulled the plug on the Rivian venture? I wanted to go electric for my next car but wound up ordering another Aviator 2 weeks ago since dealerships are offering absurd money for cars these days.
  25. Is the Aviator BEV different from the Lincoln BEV that they announced this year? Sorry if this has already been answered.
