  1. When we saw the new Nautilus launch I knew that there was no way they were keeping it at the same price point. That said the standard model does come pretty well equipped; the only model that seems to be reaching is the Black Label. A fully loaded Reserve isn’t much more than the 2024. I love my Black Label but I don’t know if I’d do that again or go with the Reserve with the Jet Appearance Package. I’d be curious to see sales of the Aviator, trim by trim. I would think they did some research before raising prices this much.

Literally my only issue is the screen brightness.

For whatever reason, I don’t know if it’s a glitch, but in my Aviator if I find it too bright I lower the dimmer and it makes the screen darker—then I raise the dimmer back up so the rest of the cabin lighting is bright and the screen remains darker. Maybe that’s your fix if you haven’t tried that?

It pisses me off. I know you obviously don't want to reveal your product 5 years before it makes it into production or anything like that. But Ford keeps hyping up how incredible these next generation electric vehicles are. Stop talking about it, and show us. T3 and the 3 rows are coming out in 2025, probably early 2025.

We're basically in 2024 at this point.

Throw us a bone and show us a concept or two, at least a teaser or something. I'd even accept a design sketch or rendering to tide us over. It's just not a good look when everyone else is teasing concepts and prep production vehicles, and Ford is hiding it's products, doesn't exude confidence.

I was all excited when they announced the partnership with Rivian—and then that got deep-sixed, then they announced the EV Aviator, but that seems to keep getting pushed back. We had the Star Concept, which I loved when I saw in person, obviously too over the top but I could see it being toned down for production and it could be a sharp vehicle. But instead we are on the 5th model year of the Aviator with no changes, the Chinese market receives a better version of the Corsair…the new Nautilus looks promising at least, and I do love the Navigator. Aside from that there’s no news of anything.

  4. I think their current batch of vehicles are pretty competitive, I love my Aviator(#3), and I’ll probably get another one, but was hoping for some information on an electric replacement for it. Their problem though is that they don’t continually update their vehicles and in this market you have to make updates and they just don’t seem to do that— especially as they can’t just sell based on their laurels like BMW, Mercedes and the like.

I am confused as to why this has gone on for as long as it has and why they are having such a hard time with it.  I imagine the supplier is to blame, maybe Ford should really look into someone else but they really need to light a fire under them to get this fixed the stop sale has been going on for I think 2 months now? maybe longer.

Camera issues have been popping up on Ford products for a while now too.  My 2013 MKZ had the camera go out completely on me when I was backing into my driveway, first the image of my garage door froze on it and was stuck like that for several days.  I would be leaving work and backing out of my spot and see my garage door.  I made an appointment and just before the appointment I started getting a solid blue screen when I would put it in reverse.  Thankfully it was covered under warranty but in the MKZ group on facebook lots of people have complained about the camera going out on them.  *knock on wood* it hasn't happened on my 2017 Black Lable... yet.

It’s embarrassing to say the least. Don’t get me wrong I love my Aviator but when your $80k car has issues that should be an easy fix it does become a bit aggravating. And I’m honestly doubting the fix they have for it will resolve it. To me it seems it’s something with the wiring, like something is shorting out and causing the distortion.

  6. The Navigator can top out near $130K so I don’t think a $150K halo car seems that far out of reach. I am definitely not the target Lincoln demographic but I just love these cars(I had a Continental BL, and am on my third Aviator BL) and want to see them succeed. They can do it when they put their minds to it but what seems to happen more often than not is they just let the products rot on the vine. I will say they’ve gotten better in the last 5 years but there’s still room for improvement.

  7. I was contemplating their first BEV to replace my Aviator but it’s a little frustrating to see little to no news, on the other hand I’m not a fan of when Ford shows a product two years before it’ll be available. Hopefully when they do show it it’s something truly remarkable. H/K seems to be churning out a new car every other week meanwhile Ford/Lincoln just seem to be complacent.

  8. It’s a pie in the sky concept for sure, but the overall shape and proportions seem doable. I’m curious when the first model will come out; assuming I like the styling I’ll probably be looking to one of the models to replace my Aviator. I prefer production concepts but it’s nice every now and then to see an actual concept.

So I thought the original plan was 2030 but I guess they bumped things up.  Makes me wonder how they will handle the Navigator, have to think about weight, towing, all of that and not affect range too much.

Well maybe they will still have ICE powered vehicles as well during this time; the article I read didn’t say they would be exclusively electric by 2026.
