  1. My ordered 2021 Explorer ST just arrirved at the Dealership. Was gonna take delivery on 3 year lease on Saturday Oct 2nd. Not sure, but I don't think there are any rebates at the moment. Should I maybe push back delivery to the following Saturday Oct. 9th in hopes that Ford will announce some rebates? Or are market conditions now as such that it is highly unlikely Ford will offer any rebates in October?
  2. May I ask why your 2018 1.5L has to be replaced? I have the same year and engine with 25k. Just wondering if I should be looking out for aything in particular.
  3. Update please. VIN 1FM5K8GC6LGB61197
  4. So I was notified by my Dealership on Nov. 7th that my 2020 Ford Explorer ST was destroyed in a trail derailment on Oct. 9th in Georgia. So nice for Ford to finally notify my Dealership a full 30 days later on Nov. 7th. I could have ordered a new one weeks ago already. Since mySales guys can't locate any ST's optioned to my liking, I placed a new order thru on Nov 8th. By the way, based on the timing, I suspect Ford only notified the Dealership on Nov. 7th because I called the Ford Customer Relationship Center on Nov. 5th to complain there were no updates for over a month since the vehicle was produced Sept. 26th. Otherwise who knows how much longer I'd still be waiting. I originally ordered this Explorer on July 16th. I've had to extend my current 2017 Explorer lease 3 times already as a result of delays. I obtained a case number from the Ford Customer Relationship Center (per Ford's process) and have called the Ford Executive Offices and left 5 Voicemail messages in the last 2 weeks and have not received a return call. If you call Ford Corporate and ask for the Executive Offices you always go straight to Voicemail where you are instructed to leave your Name, Case #, Contact #, and reason for your call. I have done this 5 times speaking very clearly. Essentially I'd really like for Ford to call me back so I can discuss having my replacement order expedited and maybe even some rebate relief for the hassle. I think this is the least they can do for not notifying me promptly that I would not be receiving my first order. How can I get Ford to call me back? 5. Hi Cyberdman, I asked my Dealer to order a new one. Order A112 Dealer Code F24486 Thanks
  6. Thanks but I found out yesterday afternoon where it is. It was destroyed in a trail derailment on Oct. 9th in Georgia. So nice for Ford to finally notify my Dealership a full 30 days later on Nov. 7th. I could have ordered a new one weeks ago already. Now my Sales guys can't locate any ST's optioned to my liking. I have a call into Ford to give them an earful on this one. And by the way, I suspect they only notified the Dealer yesterday because I called the Customer service center on Tuesday to complain there were no updates for over a month. Otherwise who knows how much longer I'd still be waiting. 8. Update please ? VIN = 1FM5K8GC1LGA89275 By the way, I know this isn't your fault at all Cyberdman but I'm starting to get very frustrated here. I originally ordered my Explorer on July 16th. It's now been stuck in Macon, GA (just a 5 hour drive from my house) for more than 3 weeks. I've had to extend my current lease 2 months already. I now plan to turn in my 2017 Explorer this Friday come hell or high-water. Ford please get your act together here. OK, my rant is now over.

  15. My apologies Cyberdman. My sales guy pulled a production date of 8-23 and I see now you told me 9-23. I guess I misread it and thought you indicated 8-23 as well. I'm surprised Ford has my production date 10 weeks out from the original order date. I've never had it take that long in the past.
  16. Can you please check status on VIN 1FM5K8GC1LGA89275 Thanks
  17. Sorry about that Cyberdman. Not sure why that code didn't work. My Sales guy of 10 years insists that is the correct dealer code. Anyway, he did send me the VIN today so maybe that will be more helpful. Thanks in advance. VIN = 1FM5K8GC1LGA89275
  18. Can anyone tell me if Order # 8612 / Dealer Code 24286 is scheduled and has a VIN # yet? I ordered from my dealer on July 16th. Thanks.
  19. Is anything changing on the 2020 Edge? Do we have the Order Guide yet?
  20. We've previously had a 2013 Explorer Sport and then a 2017 Explorer Sport. I guess the ST is now replacing the Sport. I just hope the ST pricing is in-line with the Sport but I have a bad a feeling it will be $3-4k more. My 2017 Sport was MSRP'ed at $51,505. I heard one YouTube reviewer predicting mid-50's for the ST. Ouch. And before you say, just get a Platinum, I can tell you the handling was night and day on the 2017 Platinum vs. Sport. The Platinum felt like a beast with all that body roll. We actually got the Sport for the handling and the blackout Sport look, not the speed. In 2017 you could get the Platinum with the same 3.5l eco so technically it was just as fast as the Sport, in straight lines anyway.
