  1. That all makes perfect sense, and will make for a better truck too. I just kept reading May of next year as a MY2023. I figured they were trying to get both vehicles on the same modified platform as soon as they could. I think I can wait another year...... I just don't want to....lol
  2. I had an article from Ford Authority pop up on facebook this morning stating the NG Ranger wouldn't show up in the US until July of 2023. I hope it's wrong, but I'm sure it's not. I'll post it once I find again, but someone else will probably beat me to it.
  3. What is not figured in these reports is the number of trucks used in business. These trucks get abused to no end. Ford sells more trucks to business than Toyota sells trucks period. Keeping reliability basically even between the two sounds like a pretty good accomplishment. I have tried to find an article I read several years ago that discussed this topic and how it affects resale value numbers. I have worked in construction my whole life, and I can count the number of Toyota "work" trucks I've seen on job sites on one hand. I'll pass 10 of the Big 3 trucks, with company names on them, on my way to work in the morning.
  4. Just read this when it showed up in my feed. Copied the link but I see I'm late. Great article...congrats!
  5. Gives room for the Ranger to grow slightly.....since the Maverick has more rear leg room than the current Ranger.
  6. Just read in Motortrend that the Lightning has the same locking rear differential as it's ICE counterpart. That can't be right.....is it?
  7. That's exactly what I'm thinking. Hopefully fully autonomous vehicles are further off than we think.
  8. Even in California it doesn't work for everyone! https://insideevs.com/news/505232/study-evs-california-return-ice/
  9. When was this issue corrected? We have a 2017 Escape.....just wondering if we should be worried?
  10. Over 84,000 F-150's.....pretty good with a chip shortage for the last month or so!
  11. I'm probably in the minority, but I hope it pushes the Ranger a little larger.
  12. So I guess they can't do that update over the air?
  13. And another $1.5 Billion subsidizing every manufacturer that builds 200,000 qualifying EV vehicles. You do realize where this money comes from right?
  14. Just a thought, with GM doing so well now, you would think they might send some money to the Treasury for all of the money they lost 9n GM's bankruptcy.
  15. Ford actually closed at a 52 high today......GM reached a high today, but fell back a little before closing.
  16. I thought the new Ranger would arrive in NA as a 2023 model.
  17. Has this issue been corrected, and does anyone know when? I have a 2017 Escape and was already worried about build up around the valves.
