I mean, I thought that moment was hilarious personally because I've said it to customers I've had enough of and found some validation there, but what's that have to do with the we/us thing?Considering who he said it to.....and the context.....it was exactly what needed to be said

A crew will work day shift Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pmB Crew works night shift Tuesday-Friday 6pm-4:30am
C crew is day shift Friday & Saturday (6am-4:30pm) and night shift Sunday & Monday (6pm-4:30am)
Got it!
Very interesting

The article said 3 crews on 2 shifts......how does that work?......or is it a mis-quote.

The gauges in the A pillar look nice too!
Maybe just for testing.

They were selling 100k in 2019 pre Covid and there are numerous upgrades beyond Raptor so 125k will be easy if they can get the parts. So how much capacity does that leave for Bronco?

I'm starting to feel like the new Ranger is the Bronco pickup, and Ford will be happy with 5k sales a month. The Raptors is surely class leading and priced well, but I see the rest of the lineup as a low seller.
I saw a new Colorado Z71 on a dealers lot, and compared to the Lariat I priced to order, it's a bargain. $49k with sunroof and ventilated seats......Lariat roughly $53k with 2.7......and no sunroof or ventilated seats.
No way I can buy a GM, but it gets harder to get a Lariat.......$1k order discount will help.

isn’t Tacoma hybrid a 2.3l turbo?
Toyota is doing something similar to GM.......3 or 4 versions of the 2.4 turbo with the hybrid being at the top.

This article states the Tremor will arrive when the 2.7 is available. The 2.7 will be standard on the Tremor.

Most likely that the 2.7L won't show up until it's included and available in an updated order guide.
So can you change your order later to the 2.7 when it comes out, or do we just wait until it's on the order guide?
The Lariat I built is $51K.....about $3k more than last year.......the XLT I build is a couple hundred $ less......lol

You missed this part
Finally, MRI Simmons shows: Ford owners represent 20% of all U.S. AM radio listeners and are more likely to listen to AM radio.I read that part.....and should have quoted it.
Kind of makes sense with Ford being the #1 Brand for a while.
-
I think it depends on where you are and what you want to listen to.......but there are more listening to AM than what some of these articles are stating..
Cumulus Media | Westwood One's Audio Active Group has released a new comprehensive analysis of listening data from the Nielsen Fall 2022 Survey, MRI Simmons, Edison Research's "Share of Ear" and Advertiser Perceptions. It reveals 82 million reasons to keep AM radio in vehicles, illustrating why AM/FM radio is still the queen of the road as 82,346,800 Americans listen to AM radio monthly.

What does AM offer over FM or other forms of communication without breaking out the tinfoil hat conspiracy theories?
Just conservative radio in general.......not "tinfoil hat conspiracy theories"......LOL

"Good case" according to whom? All those organizations are lobbying organizations that are doing their job representing the interests of the organizations that are paying them to shill, nothing more and nothing less.
Yep, it's a lot about the information on AM that they want to hinder.....not about EV interference.
All vehicles have electric motors that don't interfere with the radio.

Ohhhh, I didn't see THAT air dam......WTF, that thing is going to scrape on everything.
It's hideous.....without it not a bad looking truck. The TRD Pro looks nowhere near as good as the Raptor.

In other news, hilariously, folks over at GMI are claiming the Tacoma is "overrought", overstyled, and has a huge front air dam......all while praising this....
They're really not that different....I agree, but I think Toyota does have them beat on over styled a little.....and on the air dam!

Fords F150 is number 1 in selling name plate only if you separate the the GM twins which together sell more than Ford in trucks. The Ranger sales have been poor and bottom of the pack because lack of features and old tech and not class leading. Ford treats its American customers like step children where they known best and not the customer on anything other than a Mustang or F150. I like what Toyota did and offers the features that their big truck has and even more. The taco has way more features then the any Ranger. I will list them Hybrid system, heated and cooled seats, heads up display, built in air compressor, Auto AWD, power running boards, 2.4 kw invertor, power tail gate and sunroof to name a few. I know what you guys are going to say buy the F150, well not all of us want a huge truck and I for one don't like driving them and would rather a have a mid size truck with all the features of the big trucks. Would have been nice if Ford would have offered these things seeing that they offer them for the overseas customers. The Platinum Ranger is really the best looking truck in mid size class, but sadly its only for overseas customers and I would buy that truck if it was available here. The also offer a grab handle at every door opening, where in the states we get one on the passenger side front door. Ford also also has rear air vents on the overseas Ranger models, but here in the states that is not happening. What gives, Ford you must really hate us here in the states unless your buying a F150. Ford is not the number one selling brand that is Toyota because they listen better to their customers wants. Where Ford only wants to sell you one thing an F150. Ford use to be a full line company sold all your vehicle needs at one place. I think that will be their downfall because people like to go to one place for all their vehicle needs and Ford does not offer that anymore. Do not get me wrong I love Ford and been with them for over 3 Decades as a customer but it seem they really do not want me anymore unless I want an F150, Bronco or Mustang because everything else in their lineup is not class leading. All I want from Ford is to offer me the Platinum Ranger you already make for your overseas customer with the 2.7 V6 not detuned with the full 335 horsepower like in the Bronco. Do a search for the Platinum Ranger it is the best looking Mid size truck inside and out, come on Ford give us the options people like choices.
You know it's bad when we get decontented from the ROW Ranger....don't quite get that one. I'm sure we'll get some additional packages, but I doubt anything like the Platinum. I have driven F-150's just about all my life, but it's outgrown me, and I'll be getting a mid-size something before long. Being loyal to Ford is a little tough in this instance , but we can say it's better than a Frontier. I'm sure pricing won't reflect the less features, but we'll see! Glad you like your 2022 Tremor......nice truck?

The super cab is interesting.....no rear doors or rear seats.
Very nice storage set up though.....makes sense with no usable seat room back there anyway.

We have a Buc-ee's opening up down the street from us in 2027.......they will have 120 gas pump and 24 Tesla Chargers......somebody had better let them know they will need 72 of each by then.......LOL

The cab is carryover so you are correct that the restyled door panels and headliner are giving the interior measurements a fraction of an inch improvements. So if you wanted a roomier cab that didn't happen. Always hate when things grow outside, but not inside on vehicles. I'm fine with the space inside the Ranger, but I know a lot of people complain about it. The Maverick is larger inside if you don't need or want the tougher truck capabilities.
Oh well......I figured with the bed getting wider and the slightly better interior dimensions, it had gained a little bit. BTW, and maybe everyone already knows this, but the GM twins are 2.5" shy of 48" between wheel wells.
I would think that would be a pretty big deal in the long run.....but who knows these days. I am going to order a Ranger, and see how the size works. I am coming from an F-150, and the size of that has outgrown my tastes, so hopefullyu the Ranger will work.

Looks like the interior specifications have been updated. The 2024 SuperCrew is within an inch in most measurement of the previous gen except for head room which really wasn't an issue anyhow. I was questioning how they were able to get 4 extra inches of rear leg room in the new model when the total passenger volume was within inches of each other. It's not surprising though since the cab shell looks virtually carryover. The first image is the 2023 model (look at the second column for SuperCrew) and the second is the 2024.
MT had an article out last night comparing the Ranger dimensions to the Colorado, and they were using the 38.3" rear leg room.
On several occasions they mentioned how the Ranger had a much roomier back seat.....lol. I should've known from the start that was a misprint......wanting a mid-size truck with midsize dimensions is to much to ask for. The added width seems to have helped a little though.

Uh, that 4" rear legroom increase has disappeared. The Tech Specs have been updated since the 5/10 release.
HRG
That's disappointing..grew .1" from 5G truck.
It's just a little less than the GM twins though......we'll see!

Number 1 with a bullet is hybrid so a new Ranger is a complete non-starter for me.
I’ll post a complete list later
I was hoping for a hybrid also. One of the articles I read over the last couple of days said it's definitely coming, but who knows.
It would make sense only to keep the launch simpler. I still think I am going to order one, but not completely sure yet.
I am hoping more colors are added at some point also.
Can't wait to see the rest of your list either.

The Tech Specs show the transfer case having a high and low range and doesn't say optional......so we'll see!
