  1. I had no idea what you were referring to until I checked. Totally forgot about that. No one has a 401k I guess based on all these responses.
  2. Hi - wondering if anyone has the answer to a simple question. I also posted this in the employee forum. The Ford stock fund in our 401k plans pays quarterly dividends based on "equivalent shares" that you own. It is different from normal dividends in that it is paid on the ex-dividend day, rather than the pay date. If you have any of the Ford stock fund, you can see this is if you go into your account and check on activity. This last dividend was paid into the plan on 4/25 which was the ex-date as opposed to the normal pay date which is June 1. This is highly unusual and I've asked NESC why this is and I kind of got a non answer. My question is - If I elect to take the dividend in cash as opposed to reinvesting it, does that check get sent out right after the ex date, or does it get sent out with the normal checks on the pay date? Thanks all.

  4. I noticed in my 401k the other day that my dividend from the Ford Stock fund (which I reinvest) paid out on 1/30/2019. Dividends do not normally pay on this date (which is the ex-dividend date for the 3/1 payout). NESC responded to me saying this is the date for reinvestment (it never has been in the past). Anyone else see this same thing and get a better answer? Makes no sense to me as the normal dividend will actually get paid on 3/1.
  5. I wonder if anyone else is in this situation? A few months ago I got a 85 page summary plan description specifically for deferred vested benefits. This means I am owed benefits on retirement but am not of that age yet, and am no longer an active employee. I was salaried during my time at Ford. I'm an ex-employee with 16 years of service. When I left I had the option of medical benefits to choose from on retirement like FMP, CMP, HAP etc etc. This plan summary appears to change that, in one sentence it says "you are not considered a retiree for coverage under other company sponsored benefit programs (such as healthcare and life insurance)" So this seems to say I can no longer get my healthcare benefits that I have earned and were previously eligible for? I understand Ford has the right to change benefits at any time with BOD approval, but can they just remove this and not compensate somehow? I would call NESC but I'm sure they have been coached to avoid answering as usual. Anyone know anything? Thanks.
