  1. You said they're building 400 cars per shift. Is this full capacity or could it be more? How many shifts per week? I guess it will take quiet a while to install all the missing steering wheels.
  2. Okay thank you for the informations. I'd be glad to here from you if there's any kind of good news
  3. https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/mexican-union-declares-victory-strike-48-border-plants-61002106 According to ABCNews a "Mexican union has declared total victory in that mass strike". Let's just hope that the supplier of the steering wheels will go back to production as well.
  4. Oh okay, was my first time driving in the US. I actually took the long island expy, just looked it up First time driving in the US I didn't want to risk a ticket for speeding ? But it was a great experience, though. I'm tired of all those small cars on German roads. I have never seen so much mustangs in so few weeks ? Heaven on earth!
  5. Last September I spent a few weeks in nyc, me and my girlfriend wanted to visit the hamptons and took the highway from Brooklyn to Riverhead. If you're used to drive as fast as you can it's pretty annoying to be limited to 65 miles ? Average speed on German Autobahn is 80 mph. Really can't wait to take the Stang for a ride?
  6. It'll be as deutsch as it can be ;) Already had a test drive here , finally a powerful and affordable car. Can't wait to take it to the autobahn ;)
  7. Hi, I like the idea of sharing some experiences with the mustang. I'm from Germany and I bought my first mustang in December 2016. I got it from Minnesota and a friend from a german mustang forum organized the whole shipment. It's a 1965 289 V8 (A-Code) manual transmission in tropical turquoise. Got it with 90k miles, also stored in winter, only nice weather. Due to some federal regulations I had to change a few things like installing hazards, EU-spec headlights. Amazing how good it runs after nearly 54 years. At the moment I'm waiting for my 2019 Mustang GT to be delivered, I ordered it in October 2018. Hopefully should arrive at my local ford store this April, but due to some parts shortage at the flat rock plant it could be delayed.
  8. Hi guys, I can already see the windowsticker for my 2019 EU-Spec Mustang. Blend date is Feb 1st 2019. Due to the downtime at the plant, will there be any correction of the date on my windowsticker? Since I'm from germany I'm not quiet sure, if there can be any changes at the windowsticker. Thanks for your help!
