  1. the module is actually inside the mirror housing on certain models! I had to replace the entire mirror. Also removing the stock mirror is a real pain in the but!
  2. I've tried calibrating both directions clockwise and counter clock wise. i've tried changing the zones also
  3. where is the compass module on these cars. its not behind the mirror like other fords. Is it inside the mirror itself or maybe in the dash. Either way I 've got the calibration error that will not GO away
  4. Maybe they could rebid the new mach with a shorter trunk and add a second set of doors with a Tbird front end?
  5. I agree many "low" sales vehicles have really caught on, I know theres other (prowler) that haven't. I always liked toehold panel trucks or sedan deliveries as they were once called. Now if they squared up the front end of the transit connect and lower the roof line a bit......
  6. Heard it best described this way on a TV auto show over the weekend. A turbo takes in air and puts out happiness!! At all operating RPM a turbo is more efficient than normal aspirated engines. However, as posted above like any other engine gentle acceleration will yield slightly better fuel economy. Apples to apples the first gen ECO boost 4 cylinders had a bit more horse power than the prior years V8 and got better economy across the board We can get esoteric and discuss time spent in lower gear versus time spent higher gear. Some folks believe that acceleration at a slightly harder rate will get you into a higher and more economical gear ration quicker therefore negating the excess consumption.
