Valve ever confront a dyeing parent through a window for months, then a doorway 20 feet away, at the end of their journey? For no other reason than a man told you... you can`t get closer?

Thankfully  both county officers that responded to the facilities call stood there, asked if there was anything I needed and proceed to close the door behind me. Then when time had given way to the passage they escorted be to the parking lot in zip ties. When in the squad I was instructed too be picked up at the county seat by a friend or family. To give the person picking me up my keys to remove my vehicle from the facility. That Deputy wasn`t born with it but, by your response I wonder if the Deputy had more strength than you`ll ever have.....  my disorderly conduct has since been removed from the docket.

For your data gathering valve, neither parent tested positive but both had to adhere to some man`s rules.       I...did not.

To clarify... I was referring  to the “masks” as stupid shit.

Good luck valve, walking your journey of fear and blind faith in man.

No fear. Just respect for everyone else, enough to research and know that masks do help and do work. Keep living in your denial of the scientific facts. This isn't oppression, it's respect for your fellow man. Get over yourself.

Consumer Reports actually got significantly faster 0-60 and quarter mile times for their 2020 Escape Hybrid SE Sport Hybrid AWD compared to the 2020 Escape SE 1.5L AWD. Unlike some other professional auto testers, CR doesn't use rollout in its acceleration tests.

Escape SE Sport Hybrid AWD (regular hybrid, not PHEV)

    • 0-60 mph, 8.3 seconds
    • Quarter mile, 16.5 seconds @ 90 mph
    Escape SE 1.5L AWD
    • 0-60 mph, 8.9 seconds
    • Quarter mile, 16.9 seconds @ 85 mph

I've driven the 1.5 AWD and 8.9s seems slow to me. It definitely felt much faster than that and other reviewers seem to agree. For example Car and Driver recorded 7.7s.

if you squint your eyes, the front kinda looks like an old Colorado.

I’m a bit worried that the bed is going to look a bit too much like the first gen ridgeline. Besides that it looks pretty good. Do you think that is the finalized rear bumper? Looks a bit like an after thought. Where will the license plate go? Hopefully if that is the final version, it gets body colored instead of black plastic.

I'm thinking it is the final bumper - the license plate will go to the right of the hitch.

This is what Car and Driver mentioned for including CX-5 in this comparison with Cherokee and Bronco Sport.

Still an odd comparison since I don't think the intention of either is to beat the CX-5. They are competing for different buyers. They may be in the same size class but that's about it.

I’m surprised the Edge is on there.  I’ve recently had one as a rental and I find very little redeeming about it.  Interior has creeks and rattles galore, many features were lacking for the MSRP (like an auto lift gate, etc) and the interior design was woefully dated.  Sync was also buggy.

That being said I’m glad Ford fitted it with LED headlights.  They were phenomenal.  The seats were also very very comfortable.  But compared to the new Terrain I had prior, the Edge was a major downgrade.  Fuel economy was good, around 28 mpg over the trip but then that was far worse than the GMC as well.

Overall though it was nice seeing so many domestic models on the list.

    It's a dependability study...

Interior design or lacking features is not relevant.

I posted about this in a different thread last year. But good to know Autoblog finally caught on. ?

This is confirmation that FWD and AWD Maverick will have different rear suspension.

Or does this mean that the earlier mules were not using the final suspension setup? Would be odd to use two different configurations for the same vehicle, especially for a lower cost one?

    "

Given that the COVID-19 virus originated in Wuhan, China, and the precedent of using place of origin within the names of viruses, it would only make sense that we would use the term “China virus” to describe COVID-19.

    Not Anymore, you racist!

The latest of Joe Biden’s THIRTY SEVEN executive orders signed in the first week of his presidency states that the term ‘Chinese virus’ or ‘China virus’ is now banned."

There is no such precedent and actually the opposite is fact. From the WHO virus naming guidelines (2011):

  8. I could get into this if it was offered in a high performance plug-in hybrid version. I'm not too crazy about driving an SUV and prefer cars. If they could offer this style with something along the lines of the Aviator GT engine configuration (high performance engine with plug-in), it could be a hit. Good efficiency for plodding around town or commuting and great performance when wanted.

I want all possible safety features to be included without having to pay tens of thousands of dollars more for various packages (e.g. Super Duty line).  Ford should want that too.  Other manufacturers include everything for practically no upcharge, such as in Subaru Foresters.

You're comparing a Ford SuperDuty to a Subaru Forester? These vehicles would have vastly different buyers with vastly different priorities.

Can you provide an example of what your specific concern is?

    True.

No. IMO Ford key fobs are already way too big.

I think the way to do this is add it as a software feature to the key fob. Depending upon which key fob is detected in the drivers seat, the seat would automatically adjust the the preferences that are tied to that keyfob. I thought some manufacturers were already doing this with PAAK (Phone as a key).

Yes, the key fobs are already too big.
