  1. I have a 2020 F250 with the same issue. It is like the lock itself is sticking. The electric actuator sounds like it is attempting to either unlock the door or lock it but the lock just sticks. Was the worst when real hot outside. Cooled down and started to rain again and it worked for one week. Now not working again. Anyone else had a fix for it.
  2. Thank you for the info. My son and his family live out there. As for the truck, most excellent color choice. I have practically the same truck except mine is a Supercab with the Godzilla motor and a matching cap. You might see it every once in a while as we do come out to visit from this side of the state.
  3. The wait for the rest of the time is maddening. I couldn't wait till I got my 2020, kept checking the sticker for updates every few days. The email thing must be sometime this year. Never got emails from Ford last year when my truck was being built.
  4. I give Ford an A+, Dealer financing an A+, Sales a F! Everything was going good until the final sales. I was trading in a 2017 F150 that was flawless. Had extra goodies that were factory or dealer installed. Could sell it for the very top dollar (which they did). I probably could have sold it myself but no time. The truck had just gone out of warranty by a month. Sales tried to lo-ball me by saying the price he was offering was because the warranty had just expired. Truck originally bought there and serviced there. Then they told me the paper I was filling out was to expedite the paperwork. Then when my wife showed up, she told same. They actually ran our credit when they knew it was a cash transaction. What a shady sales group (West Hills Ford). I will NEVER deal with them again.
  5. 2020 F250 Lariat, 7.3 gas with a 2014 28ft (32'10" tip to tip) Keystone Bullet Bunkhouse.
  6. Love my 2020, F250, Godzilla, SCSB, 4X4
  7. Hello, I owned a 202 F150 with max towing package. I have an 8500# Trailer and live in the PNW. Going over the passes was quite a chore. I had it porpoise alot and go side to side. I used to have a Silverado with more stability. I upped my truck from the F150 to an F250. What a difference. I am glad I did. No porpoising or little side to side motion. Drove in a storm over Snoqualmie pass with 30-40 mph winds and the F250 handled it flawlessly. The F150 is best for 10,000 lb towing for straight, level ground (like the Central Valley in Calif.)
  8. Hello, I also had to have my windshield replaced because of a rock. The glass place could not save my sticker and it was a sad day. I have proudly displayed the truck/ all stickers and would love to find out how I can get a new one. Thank you.
  9. I had a 17 F150 XLT, Max Tow, 3.5 TT and 36 gal tank. My oil pan leaked and I am on my 4th pan. Poly plastic pan. It has leaked the last two times when getting oil change, so decided to upgrade. F150 towing in the PNW is really maxed at about 8000 lbs. My trailer is maxed at 8000 and towing was a little sloppy. So went with a Super Duty for more stable towing and the bigger gas 7.3L because only do weekend towing about 6 times a year.
  10. Before your vehicle was scheduled to a certain production week. Now it has been scheduled to a certain day that week. Within about a week and a half of being built, you will get your window sticker and status will go to “Sent to Plant/In Production”. Then it will be built on it’s scheduled day.
  11. Sorry, I did not realize that it was only you moderating this thread. I know I cannot influence anything and speed things up. I have been like a kid waiting for Christmas to get here. All I asked for was one update. I really do appreciate that.I did read the rules on the post and this is my first time asking in this thread for an update. I understand that this is voluntary to look things up and you taking you time for that. I do appreciate it. Since I know it is in Production, I won't ask again. Thank you very much.
  12. Have you taken delivery yet? I ordered an F250 Supercab Lariat with the 7.3, do not have it yet. Supposed to be built today by Ford's site, but have not heard anything yet.
  13. I have had my VIN# 1FT7X2BN3LEC42917 since Nov 14th. I got access for the window sticker on 1/16. The latest from the dealer was Scheduled to day of 1/27, but the Ford tracking site says "In Production" and I have been following another that has it as "Sent to Plant". That was back on the 16th. Could someone lookup and see if my truck has been built or not and if not, what possible day it is supposed to be done. Thank you very much. John
  14. Did talk to the sales guy. They do not have an exact reason and seems like they didn't want to contact the regional people. I did find that an F-250, just like mine with the exception of the front seat, was sent to production. I have been finding out that most vehicles that have been being built is with the 40/console/40 seats and not the bench in leather, which mine is the 40/20/40 bench. That is the only thing I can figure. Thank you for all your help. I will just have to wait until mid next month to get my vehicle. When I do, I will post pics.
  15. @ice-capades, When looking at the scheduling as you have posted, it shows F-Series Super Duty. I special ordered retail my F-250 from the dealer on 10-18-19. There were two F-350's special ordered retail on 11-8-19 from the same dealer. When it came to the week of 11-18-19 scheduling week, all three trucks were given VIN #'s with the last 5 #'s in sequential order (42916, 42917, 42918), with mine being the one in the middle. One of the F-350's was an XL with the 7.3 motor and the other was a Lariat with the 6.7 motor. Mine is an F-250 with a 7.3 motor. The two F-350's have been built and shipped but my F-250 was pushed out to 01-27-20. Could there be a reason why pushed out that far from 11/18?
