  1. Excellent tip: thank you, jfischetti. I’ll practice nudging the wheel.
  2. It used to nag me about keeping both hands on the wheel. Now it's content to let me use just one. Was there a stealth firmware upgrade, or maybe a mileage threshold, or maybe it's just my car, which has 2,000 miles on the clock. Anybody else seeing this one-handed Lane Centering mode?
  3. These collapsible milk crates are sturdy, and two of the medium-size ones collapse, stack, and fit perfectly in the under-floor storage space at the rear of the Aviator. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078Z3KG6V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They're just right for holding grocery bags to prevent them from sliding around, and then bringing them into the house.
  4. Same here with a RWD Reserve I, Luxury. Zero defects. Lane Centering is sloppy and Lane Keeping is irritating, I don’t think it’s all that quiet at 70 mph. Waving my foot under the bumper to open the hatchback often requires more than one attempt. I still haven’t mastered locking the car with the outside combo lock. These are all trivial. Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go is magical. The Perfect Position sears are not too narrow. Acceleration feels about the same as my Jaguar XKR. Plus, it’s a very handsome car. Undeniable presence. I’m very happy with it.
  5. No problems (though only 400 miles) on my 18,700 VIN Reserve I w/Luxury.
  6. Took possession today of a Reserve with Reserve I and Luxury Package. Burgundy Velvet over Ebony Roast. Everything looks and feels tight and right. Only 50 miles on it so far. Driver aids, especially Adaptive Cruise Control/Lane Centering require some study and practice, or they can be scary. Sync 3 and CarPlay will also take some thought. Questions welcome. 7/3: Ordered, with $5,000 deposit 11/12: Blend 11/14: Built 11/21: Shipped 12/3: Delivered, Burlington, WA
  7. Maybe Aviator deserves to be slammed; the term does not imply falsity.
