  1. I Need a little help. I messed my back up and need to be quiet for a day or so, otherwise I would drop the spare and measure. I am hoping someone here has measured the space above and to the front of the spare. I am wanting to mount a Viair 485C compressor, maybe two, and a 2,5 gallon air tank I need roughly 4 foot length by 6" to 7" square . I have seen pictures of tanks and compressors mounted there, but no dimensions given. I do have the 5th wheel prep package if that matters. I am mounting air horns along the side rails if you wondering why I am looking above the spare. Thanks
  2. I went aftermarket on my 2022 F350 https://duraflap.com/ Best mudflap out there. I got the extra wide. Excellent customer service. Quality material and the actually work. https://retrax.com/retraxpro-aluminum-series?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=brand-product&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIs8PVkoy7_QIVYgCtBh17RAMbEAAYAiAAEgIxN_D_BwE They appear to make the OEM retractable, but if compared side by side the Retrax is better quality. If you watch for sales you can save over the OEM option. Install is easy. https://bedrug.com/ I skipped the spray in liners and got the impact bed mat - had the rug before and the impact bed material is a whole lot better. I also got the BullRing stake pocket tie downs. The sit higher than the bed links and offer additional tie down points. Sit flush when not in use
  3. Its a Retrax knock off. Go get the Retrax PRO, which is better made. If you shop around - especially holidays yo can find some deep sales. I have one and its very good.
  4. 250 solo miles on my 2022 6.7 with 3:55 gearing. - 19.1 so far. Theses are break in runs through the mountains from Durango to Ridgeway and back.
  5. Thank you so much, When you get a chance the diagrams would be great. Thanks Keith
  6. OK I am installing a 60A DC-DC charger on my trailer with power feed (pulls 85A, fussed at 100A) directly from truck battery. I am using #2 welding cable, bot positive and negative back to the trailer. The passenger side battery appear to be the primary one connected to a positive cable junction module. Its the box top center in the photo. It also appears other wires attach from the bottom, including a feed from the alternators. I can't get the lid off without disconnecting the battery. Don't want to do that right now. I believe the second cable is from the drivers side battery. On the passenger side both battery terminals have 6mm aux studs, but on the drivers side the positive terminal does not have the aux stud. Is there a reason for this? Picture of the drivers side positive battery stud that does not have the aux post. I want to add a 6mm stud like this (picture below), add my fuse and run my #2 cables to the truck bed. Is there a reason this should not be done. Would pulling 80 amps from this location cause any issues. Ford battery wiring appears to be #2. What would really help is if someone would share the wiring diagram for the 2022 6.7 with dual alternators - I have the rapid heat option. Truck is new and I don't want to damage it. I can run from the passenger side if needed, but it means hanging the cable across the back of the engine along the plastic lip (drill holes and use zip ties) A bit more changeling and messy. Also I don't know how hot that area gets. Thanks for any help.
  7. Its built, but big shipping delay. Something to do with rail car shortage. I should have had it by now, but will be middle of next month before I get it.
  8. You dealer probably never put it in the system. If you have your order number contact Ford customer service. I have gotten numerous emails and my truck is being built this week Ordered Nov.
  9. I live in CO with salt and Mag chloride. I just got rid of my 04 - not rust anywhere on the steel body and frame only had a light coating of rust in a few areas. Its all a sales gimmick and I have been around a few years, First ford I bought was a 1977 high bow F250. Lived in Illinois then and no rust on that truck either.
  10. I always pay cash. I set up a separate savings account with auto deposit and make payments to myself every month. I adjust the payment syearly based on cost that year. When it comes time to get a new one I write a check for the balance after the trade-in and any discounts like X-Plan and private offers.
  11. Whats going to rust - Your truck is made out of aluminum and frame is already coated. I would find another Line-X dealer. They sound shady evening trying to sell you on it..
  12. Ordered F350 King Ranch with 5th wheel prep package and other goodies, November. Production set for Monday and I now have the window sticker ? windowsticker.pdf
  13. I just did a build on my KR again and everything was still there including spray in bed liner, adaptive steering etc, etc. Pricing did change a bit.
  14. The stock warranty covers drivetrain for 5Y/100000 miles for the diesel. Does the premium ESP plan cover anything more that the stock 5Y/100000 miles does not? I am trying to justify the cost of getting the 8Y/150000 premium plan on my coming 2022 F350 KR 6.7 diesel This is the warranty guide I was reading. https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/content/dam/brand_ford/en_us/brand/resources/general/pdf/warranty/2022-Ford-Car-Lt-Truck-Hybrid-Warranty-version-2_frdwa_EN-US_12_2020.pdf Thanks
  15. Instead of fighting stringing a cable to the back of the RV to connect to the rear RV camera, have an optional wireless observation camera option that can be used while driving. Put the display in the normal rear view mirror when driving and to the center display when backing for a larger screen.
