  1. I am trying to locate either a part number or what the panel is called on my oem running board. I see some of the super dutys have the same exact oem running board however they have a vertical panel that covers the running board hangers and has "Super Duty" stamped into them. That stamped panel is what im trying to locate. Anyone know what that specific panel is called or can you direct me to a part number?
  2. I have a 2020 F350 and have a reoccurring issue. Last winter I noticed that when I would turn the steering wheel I heard a noise that sounded like a spring bouncing around inside the wheel. I took it in to the dealer and they replaced the clock spring. Problem went away. Here we are this winter and I hear the spring noise in the steering wheel every time I turn it again. I plan to take it back in to the dealer again, but am curious if anyone else has experienced a reoccurring issue with the clock spring. This will be the second replacement under warranty and I think it is odd that this keeps happening. One interesting thing I noticed. When I park my truck in my heated garage and it is warm, I really don't hear any noise. The second it is outside and the temps/truck is cold (below 35), it starts making the noise again. Not sure this is relevant or if it is just the fact that the plastic and spring being cold just make it more noisy than when the trust is warm. I don't have any problems using the buttons on the steering wheel or horn. Everything works even when it sounds like the spring is bouncing around inside the wheel.
  3. Found my fix. Thought I would post for others. I purchased the center console harness for the 2020 and it wouldn't power the rear seat usb, the rear cigarette lighter or the cigarette lighter inside the console door. Fyi the console is from a 2019. I found the the ground pin in the harness was not pinned to connect with the ground pin in the trucks harness. Moved this one pin and everything lit up and started working.
  4. Thanks Cold. So the ford dealerships (like the one you posted) are all showing backordered with no date available. The ebay ones with the exception of the last one all say they won't fit the 2020. One question, isn't the 2017-2020 hood exactly the same shape? I know the front clip is shaped differently startng in 2020 but am not sure about the hood shape.
  5. Ok, trying to make the wife happy here, so help out folks. Bought her an 2020 f350 and she is adamant that she gets a hood bug deflector that has SuperDuty stamped in it. Can anyone point me to one that fits the 2020? I have seen these all over the place until I start looking to buy one, now I can't find them.
  6. Hey Nickel Plate, hopefully your still monitoring this topic. I bought the 2020 f350 6.7 liter and I think I know what your talking about. I tow and use the exhaust brake and it doesn't seem to slow the truck down as quickly as the previous gen transmission with fewer gears. I've driven an earlier F250 towing the same trailer and I would swear the exhaust brake and transmission seem to slow me down faster than the new truck. And before someone else posts, yes I'm in tow mode as well.
  7. I just purchased a 2020 F350 XL and ended up not liking the jump seat. So I found a 2019 F150 XLT center console and installed it. Only one minor issue I'm trying to resolve. On the rear of the console there is a cigarette lighter and 2 USB jacks. I ordered the console wiring harness part number KL3Z-14A318-N and plugged everything in. I hooked the wiring harness to the plug on the floor and the rear USB and cigarette lighter still won't power anything (phones, etc.). Anyone have a pinout diagram for the floor plug for the 2020 F350 XL so I can see if the wiring harness I bought isn't pinned correctly for the plug? I'm scratching my head on this one. I'm wondering if the center console wiring harness for the 2020 is actually pinned differently than the 2019 F150.
