  1. Did I read correctly that Flight blue is not available on a Black Label? My 2021 Black Label is Flight Blue.
  2. If I would have had a choice I most likely would have taken the Ocean Blue. That is a really nice color.
  3. My Flight Blue looks Black sitting in the garage. When out in the sunlight it is a very deep Blue, but obviously not Black. For sure is not a bright Blue. My Pristine White Nautilus glows in the sunlight and looks awesome. No complaints about that color at all.
  4. All newer Lincoln models have it. All newer F-150 trucks have it. Any diesel trucks do not have it.
  5. Yeah I have the dash button on my Raptor but it is just to much physical labor to reach up and hit it. Ugh! I unplugged a simple wire. No more auto stop. I will not disable it on my Gator though. Do not want to complicate or compromise the complex electronics in that thing. Where the off button in located I do not have to lift my arm very high to hit it.
  6. Well I hate auto stop but have beaten that one to death. I have it disconnected on my Raptor. A great guy at my dealership even showed me a better way to do it than the way I did have it disconnected. I did complain about no engine cover also but I guess I will live with that. Some guys claim the motor might run a little cooler without that block of foam rubber sitting on top of it.
  7. Well,,, you are the boss. I will try to think of something else to get some excitement going amongst all these sleepy Gator owners...
  8. Man it is so quiet and boring in here. Maybe you could open the thread back up about which fuel to use! That would get some action going here! Ha ha!!! Thanks!!!!
  9. Well you are most likely correct when you say most people would not notice. I reckon there is no doubt that most Gator's are driven way more conservatively than mine is. I certainly don't try to beat anyone off the line, but it is running at higher speeds and off pavement quite often. And I personally can tell in all my vehicles when I run higher octane gas. I agree that if you cannot notice the difference why bother.
  10. Ya know guys, it just seems pretty simple and common sense to me. You have a high end expensive vehicle that you most likely worked very hard to earn the needed income to purchase such a nice rig. Why wouldn't you use the best fuel you can get in order to achieve the maximum performance and long term good all around care for said Gator? If you have the hard earned ability to purchase a $100K+ dream rig, spending a few more bucks$ for the best fuel available should not even be a second guess. At least that is what my walnut sized brain tells me.
  11. Except that Lincoln wouldn't fix it. Not their problem according to them. And the insurance company has evidently stepped up and did their part very well too. All he was doing was giving us some good information on what caused the problem and showing us a way to correct it. And that is good info to know. Opinions will vary on what would be the best material to use for this correction.
  12. What kind of comment is that redneck? Why bother saying with all due respect? So I guess you would have no problem with the interior and dash of your brand new 100K+ vehicle having to be disassembled right down to the metal? We all ought to be thanking this man for pointing out an obvious flaw that needs to be corrected, not making demeaning remarks like that. 20 Navigator I appreciate this information and will see about making those corrections on my Gator. Thank you for posting this detailed information.
  13. According to the experts on the Raptor Forum..., and one of them is a Ford tech, The 3.5 motor is tuned at the factory to run at optimal performance on 91 or higher octane. It will run fine on 87 also. But it will not put out full horsepower like it will on 91 or higher. I notice when running premium the motor runs quieter, smoother, and gets 1 more mile to the gallon,,, which I don't really care about. I just want it to run the best that it can. I also notice this in my Raptor. Also in my wife's 2020 Nautilas. As much as our vehicles cost why run anything but top of the line fuel in them. I have plenty of corn juice free gas available too. I have tried running 91 corn free in my Raptor and do not notice a difference on anything so I can't justify the almost a dollar difference in price. Specially filling up that 36 gallon tank.
  14. Premium always. With Techroline added. Chevron, Texaco, Costco gas has Techroline. If you are running regular now and have been for a while, switch to one of those premium fuels with Techroline. You should feel and hear the difference.
  15. Yeah that has gotta be tough when towing something! . I did find out that there are several companies that will custom fabricate a second tank for any vehicle ya want. The catch is it has to go where the spare tire is. So if you want more fuel capacity in a Navigator ya gotta give up having a spare tire. Unless you carry it on a roof rack! Ha Ha!!
