Thanks everyone! I guess I need to crunch some numbers on payload capacity, and try to take a 250 and a 350 out for a test drive on the same route to compare.
you won't see a difference between 250 and 350. The only real difference is the helper spring, which doesn't come into play until bed is loaded with sufficient weight.

You could always level up from the 350 to a 450 to turn the turn radius into an advantage rather than a disadvantage.
Wife vetoed dually. I said then you're not getting the monster 5th wheel
If we had gone dually, definitely would have been 450.

I'd suggest you pick one way to charge the batteries and stick with that solution.
Because of the way the factory did the wiring, I really don't have a choice to limit charging solutions. I'm going to work this winter on understanding how victron equipment may help me sort this mess out. Since I have since set up to feed the entire trailer off of the inverter, I did install a switch to turn off the 120V charger when boon docking. Haven't gone boon docking yet to see how the 200ah in Lithium is going to support overnight or multiple overnight stops with solar and truck charging.

8' Bed
Advantages
- Larger factory fuel tank
- Additional bed space
- Smoother Ride
- I believe higher payload
Disadvantages
- Turning radius of the Queen Mary
- Parking, see above, and sticks way out further than any other vehicle.
While towing the 5th wheel, I always use truck lanes. Appreciate the faster fill
Given disadvantages of 8' bed, I'd still go with it. Especially since I ordered the factory retrak roll up top, which rolls down into the bed space.

30A is an output limit. Your batteries would "need" 30A to see 30A at the plug. So if your system was just topping off the trailer batteries there could be 1A at the plug.
Follow what I'm getting at??
Yes, thank you. Compounding my issue is the solar panels always charging during the day too.

Do you have access to any data that would show the number of super duties produced per year for the last 10 or 20 years?
You may have success pouring through Ford's investor site, which should have monthly or quarterly sales data posted from their press releases.

It looks like that pin is protected by 30a fuse. Does that mean the trailer batteries will see 30a?

Easy mistake since SuperCrew and SuperCab are used in the 150. Super Cab is used in the Super Duty. As far as the hitch goes, I think they were showing it was not a 3".
I would like to know what color that truck is since it looks different than the gray on the Ford site. Maybe it was just the lighting.
Battleship Gray?

The only reason not to do this immediately is to see if Ford will provide some form of price protection/PCO if this order gets bumped to a more expensive 2023. I suspect that pulling the order may kill any chance of that happening.
Are PCO tied to a specific dealer?

I am going up there tomorrow to see what is happening, fingers crossed it does something ?
Start looking for another dealer.

Am I the only one that usually cringes whenever Farley speaks? Something about the way he talks and presents is cringy. He is a smart businessman and a great car guy but I would rather read his interview quotes and his Tweets than hear him speak. He usually doesn't stumble like he did last night so I'm guessing he was nervous or didn't practice his speech.
Many insiders will completely disagree with your assessment on being a smart businessman and great car guy.
Autoextremeists web site has had Farley in their sights while he was still in Europe. Peter DeLorenzo has some phenomenal insider sources in many of OEMS, especially GM and Ford.

I would still rather listen to him speak over the expert at taking forever to say nothing, Jim Hackett.Hackett was brought in to cut costs and he did a lousy job of it.
Current CEO is on his own level, and it's not a good one.

HI end up getting moved to 2023. Also on that note, my dealer told me he doesn't think in 2023 they will build anything higher than an XLT, so curious if you all have heard anything differently.
Your dealer is an idiot.
Has the dealership asked ford for priority to be moved to "2"? Are you sure it's been entered as a retail order? Did you get an email acknowledging your initial order?
Personally, I'd find another dealer on 10/20 and order a 2023.

just replace the rotor and be done.
When coming to a hard stop, if at all possible, roll the car forward a bit and put it in neutral. That heat soaking of leaving brakes pressed warps the poor quality material they put into today's vehicles.

Do they work?
I bought some and after buying them a friend said they don't work, as his wife had one on her jeep, and deer took out the jeep.
Put two on the front, near the top of grill area.
Driving home at dusk yesterday, two deer were beating cheeks running away from the road. Two others were munching on flowers in a yard about 30' off the roadway, they didn't budge.
Tonight, had one that was slow jogging away from the road.
I don't have enough evidence to say one way or the other. I bought an extra set to maybe put on top of the 5th wheel.

Most vehicles have dropped locking steering wheels. I haven't specifically checked my 2022 F350, but my 2018 F150, nor two Dodge cars had locking steering wheels.

I'd also suggest, the trucks are literally at the limits of class 3 trucks. Even tho the F450 is technically a class 4 truck, it's legally classified as a class 3.

IMHO, Anderson hitches are not structurally sound. Internet is full of photos of broken, collapsed, or otherwise seriously damaged hitches. My B&W hitch is heavy, but it's not going anywhere in an accident.

Do you have any pictures of inside and out of the 23.

I've seen some not very revealing spy shots. Claiming an all new sheet metal. Quite frankly, I couldn't immediately see a difference, minus some minor changes.

I still do not understand why a 250 with the HCTTP which gives the 250 the same axle and springs as the 350 yet gets a lower rating vs the 350. I really do not care as I will tow as if the truck is a 350.

I had a P3 from a prior vehicle that I installed on my F150. Sold it when I received the F350 with the integrated controller. For the simplicity of the package, I like the Ford controller

I went from 2018 F150 to 2022 CCLB F350. Ride isn't bad, and the LONG package does make for a smoother ride. Parking lots can be a little bit challenging.
