I've wondered if this was the reason the dealer shifted my order from retail to stock, hoping to steal my early order for someone the GM knows. Their stated excuse was that Ford was filling stock orders first.

Take a soft cloth and this works very well if there's a little bit of moisture fog on the inside. I found microfiber cloths don't work as well something like a clean cotton rag, diapers are especially good for this task.

Did you ever receive an email for your order?
Ask the dealer to provide you cancelled order number. I'm betting you're going to hear crickets, and it's time to find a better dealer.

Well, I went to have a look at my F450 that arrived last week. It has 73mi on the ODO.
Does the mileage make sense? Is the dealer 73 miles from the depot?
While I would be pissed too, in the grand scheme of things, it won't make a difference two months from now.

I have a small hard drive connected to USB. Ripping CD's to a file is pretty easy. Go for higher quality over saving space.

I found the 7 pin being very stiff and dielectric grease helped it fully engage.

No AS, and it track perfectly. Nothing during acceleration, nothing during deceleration. Being on one side of the crown or the other, if it's large enough, it will slightly wander, but no different than any other vehicle I've owned.

I don’t have my truck but I have personally witness blatantly obvious issues with very simple things such as seat covers, incomplete paint at Jambs etc.
What happened to quality is Job 1 or is it still as I understand with any mass production that things slip through?
Trucks are painted by robot, so it's not a manpower issue.
Suppliers don't want things like recall on their parts. If they are responsible, Ford will go after them for reimbursement.
While we expect perfect trucks, OEMs are getting pretty durn close to achieving that. Used to be in the 70's there would several warranty issues on every single vehicle. Then they started measuring warranty in defects per 1,000 vehicles, and OEMS have gone from several hundred issues per thousand down to a hundred or so per thousand. With the content being being even more complex than ever, they will continue to have some issues. OEM's monitor warranty issues closely. They are getting so low, it is now possible to pick out regional issues, that could never be identified before..

remove that optional GVWR. IRC, F250 is 11.4 standard, but I'd need to open the order guide. You threw in an artificial restrictions by doing that, which is used in some states for legal reasons.

It was a restriction on stock order. Ice may be able to weigh in on if retail can be ordered with AS, but it's been on limited build for months.

i don't have AS nor have I ever driven a vehicle with it. Mine tracks perfectly and requires very little input to adjust steering.

Pretty much. It was agonizing watching mine go 100 miles and stop for 24-36 hours, another 100 miles, another rest period. And then the depot... what a cluster that was for my truck. I should have written down the exact dates, but it was almost 2 weeks, and it was a pure accident it got picked up by the trucking company

In my F150 towing a smaller travel trailer (23ft), premium non ethanol gas was amazing. I didn't check fuel economy, but it definitely improved engine performance.

Ford's online build is fraught with errors. I took a copy of the order guide to the dealership with me and I had all the options to order highlighted. The dealer will either be able to ender the code or they won't.

Online sources will generally indicate what is expected in upcoming model year. Ford hasn't publicly released any info, including timing. Given the current state of the order bank, there's likely going to be some unhappy customers.

I had TST on my TT and loved it. You are correct on the wheel issue, luckily mine fit the 5th wheel tires.
Thinking out loud here, but would 19.5" diameter TPMS sensors fit the trailer tires, and would the system recognize them? I do recognize the pressure issue too.

Especial with the long bed and the steering radius of the F350. I dropped the 5th wheel prep and spray in liner. I know they will want me to drop AS next but I'm having no part of it. If that means a 2023MY, so be it.
how does AS impact steering radius? The turn angle is limited by hard points and I wouldn't expect assist to impact the angle.

You may remember, it was a retail order, they changed my retail order to stock. On a quiet year, achieving ok to buy should have been NON EVENT
