It will depend on what options you ordered. I have been waiting since April, others have been waiting since March for their trucks to get scheduled. Once your truck has been scheduled the VIN is generated are generated at the time that an order is “Submitted to Plant” for scheduling. See @ice-capades post below.

So what happens if commodity constraints are not resolved? I ordered a truck back in the spring that has all the options that have commodity constraints (Adaptive Steering, 5th wheel prep, Spray in Bedliner) and I am willing to wait? Does my order and the pricing I received just turn into 2023MY Super Duties and I hope that it ultimately gets built? Sorry for not being more optimistic, but the week after week statement from Ford saying “22MY Super Duty with Adaptive Steering - Until further notice” does not have me very hopeful.
