I predict some will hate the changes, some will love the changes, most will be ok with the changes.

I cannot imagine Ford changes much considering they still have supply issues.

IF they get around to building them, they'll probably be the mix and match of parts they are currently are now.  Sorry, no multi contour seats, BAP on XLT, etc.  Get an ugly new grill area though.

Looks like the reveal is coming soon.  Pictures are starting to show up with the truck dropping its camo. cant believe no one has started a thread about this yet.  yes i know people are waiting for 22s, but new stuff is always exciting.  these pictures are borrowed from other forums and not mine.

I just said I’m not paying for any of that crap and they took it off.  Ended up paying $4k below MSRP and got what we wanted, so in the end no harm no foul.

What Lawler is saying is that Ford is going to raise prices, probably soon.

Someone at the ramp is going to install parts? Yeah, right. That sure sounds like BS.

The Roof Clearance Lights (592) are standard on F-350 DRW's & F-450's. On models where they're optional, it's only a $95 (MSRP) option from the factory and on those models, at least 95% of customers want them. For some it's the aesthetics to visually reinforce that their vehicle is a Super Duty, for some it's a minor resale issue. I don't remember the specifics, but they may also be a requirement for certain commercial vehicle applications, vehicle upfits, etc. Regardless, it's a very minor expense added to a factory order but can be costly to add aftermarket due to the parts and labor expenses.

That's assuming the PCO program still exists then! Ford does extensive market research and depending on the how long it takes for the commodity and supply chain issues to improve, Ford will adjust, reduce or eliminate any incentives that are deemed necessary to meet production and/or profit objectives.

Yes, the Roof Clearance Lights can be installed afterwards. Your Dealer can give you an estimate for the required parts and installation.

In 35+ years, I'd have trouble remembering an instance where I ordered a retail Super Duty without the Roof Clearance Lights. If a customer didn't have it on their list of options, I always asked about it and recommended it.

For clarification purposes, Ford Window Stickers are either blue (Stock - Order Type 2) or green (Retail - Order Type 1 & A/X/Z/D Plan) but there is no identification for COVP orders. COVP is a registration system for retail orders to qualify for incremental allocation and priority scheduling, but COVP is not an order type or identified on Window Stickers or Dealer Invoices.

Per today's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin), Ford has still not released the "Balance Out" information for the 2022MY Super Duty or the 2023MY Super Duty schedule. The 2022/2023MY Super Duty production schedule will be posted as soon as Ford releases the information via the FDNB.

DRW's can be transported by rail but can only be loaded on a car carrier in certain locations.

we screwed up by not building new nuclear power stations along with wind and solar.  Nuclear is our best bet and we arent pursuing it !!

The future of nuclear power isn't the type of plant you think of today.  It will be the small modular reactors.  There is research being done and they are being pursued.  I think you will see some commercially operational in 10 years or so.

Side note...I work at a nuke plant that was originally built for 2 units.  We started the process to obtain the license for Unit 2 back 10-15 years ago, but abandoned it due to costs.  Modular reactors are on our radar to add onsite, but we won't be one of the first ones out of the gate...we're too conservative for that.

Or adding additional reactors on current sites.  The Shearon  Harris nuclear plant south of Raleigh has room for 3 more reactors.  Duke energy had applied for a permit to build 2 more, but canceled the request in 2013.  If demand warrants, they could still be built.  People don’t seem to have a problem developing around a plant once it exists based on the growth in that area.

I could be wrong and maybe i read false information, but nuclear power is about as clean as it gets!  its also MUCH safer than it used to be.  theres enough outlying land to put a nuclear plant on in the US and we can send power a very long long way.  We missed the boat we shoulda been building these along with wind and solar.

But nothing was released from 3 Mile Island.  The safety systems work and averted disaster.  Technology has improved dramatically since 1979.  If someone is firing cruise misses at the continental US, we’ve got bigger problems.
